We have promised ourselves a visit to Sardinia for some time and decided to book the hotel throughVoyage Prive. We had a 10 day break on a 'soft' all inclusive package. The package includes breakfast, lunch and dinners with beer or wine included at lunch and dinner. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are excellent, very friendly and efficient. The food is all buffet style and there was always something on offer that you could enjoy. The hotel guests are mostly italian families and couples. They drive to Genoa and then get the ferry over to Sardinia. We travelled on 12th September and found that the resort was ending down to closing off the season on the 22nd September. La Caletta at this time of year is quiet. The beaches are empty for the most part and the locals seem to be enjoying the lack of crowds that the summer brings. We found ourselves to be made very welcome wherever we went in the town. There was no mention of Brexit, thank god! The hotel offers a little train to take guests to their beach are which has free sunbends, lots of them. We chose to use the pool are and often found that we had fewer than 10 other guests for company. The hotel is marked as a four star but in truth three stars would be a better rating, not because of any criticism of the place just that the wifi is only in the lobby and sometimes available in the pool area. A second table service restaurant would have been welcome and more drawer storage in the room would also help. We booked our transfers with Voyage Prive and had a young man driving a huge mercedes to collect us and then a large VW people carrier to take us back to the airport. The only problem then occurred with our return flight with Vueling Airlines changing at Barcelona, please read my review of the airline - NEVER, NEVER fly with Veuling Airlines.

this hotel is very friendly, clean, great staff even when busy, food varied and excellent but be sure to get to the restaurant early in the session as the servery heaters could do with a boost, food tends to cool off, but there is tons of super salad if you prefer ; tip:if you want quieter evenings attempt to get a room not facing swimming pools as the evening entertainment can get a bit boisterous! but very happy stuff!! take a boat trip on the Galvana [think that is the spelling!! you will visit an impressive grotto and two simply stunning beaches -- the cleanest you will ever find -- one of which is teeming with sardines who will swim around you and tickle your toes ! an uplifting experience believe me this a designated "no fishing area" so they don`t get caught and eaten!! Sardinia and the hotel were a very pleasant surprise.

We arrived via a tour operator looking for a relaxing couple break - we understood there was a mismatch with what we were looking for. The hotel is close to a quiet amazing private beach and there is also a train-wheeled service going there throughout the day - big pro! The structure (around 1990s) and services are more suitable for families with kids or who loves kid clubs inside the resort: there were activities all day long at the beach, at the pool, and also in room-facing outdoor area (so you could hear it all evening long). A few parking spots inside the resort (in a week we always had to park along the public road outside); the hotel works with only a full meal deal and the quality was ok, however, the hotel was super crowded and when seated you were slammed by other tables guests. By our expectations and experience, we didn't get value for money for a 4* hotel (ie. we went to Olbia to Bacchus\Jazz Hotel and quality was way higher!).

You cannot rest and sleep until 23pm, when the animation program for children ends. but in the morning it is calm, birds are singning
