“Fabulous place with view of castle from upstairs.”

We had 1 night on ground level and 2 upstairs. There are only 3 Superior Studios (which have a kitchen) downstairs and one upstairs. “Couple ”

Great hotel, a bit dated but the local amenities are spot on. The location is superb, la pelosetta Beach is probably the best beach/sea I have visited. The restaurant just across the street is amazing, wonderful view and great food.

“The view....”

Stayed in a studio with a perfect view...every day we had lunch and dinner on the terrace (breakfast was way too hot!). The downside to the apartment is that they don’t provide you with any oil/pepper/dishwasher soap/sponge so you need to buy those - that’s fine if you are there a week but not idea… more

It’s worth asking. You can’t see the tower from downstairs, not even if you stand on the wall, as it’s blocked by signs for the restaurant. We are grateful to receptionist Pietro for arranging the change to upstairs after the first night for us. It is immediately obvious that he is a proactively hard working person who by nature wants to help people. I sometimes thank staff as a whole, not wanting to leave someone in the team out. It's rare that I credit one person at a hotel. Pietro offered outstanding customer service. Both rooms were immaculate, including all kitchen items. The kitchens were subtly different to each other, but both were usable for cooking proper meals. Note when buying groceries that there is only a stove (no oven or microwave). They are fully equipped with pots and pans etc and a large fridge. Both rooms had a Moka pot Espresso maker, so bring coffee. A sponge and washing up liquid was provided. The rooms had an additional mini fridge in the bedroom with some bottled water provided. Both bedrooms had an electric kettle and some assorted teabags. Upstairs had fewer people walking around but both rooms had safes and the grounds as a whole felt safe. Ceiling fans were very helpful. There was good free WiFi, ample electrical outlets, a wardrobe with a lot of hangers and a drying rack on the balcony. Beware like all of Sardinia, you might want to bring mosquito repellent or wristbands, even at the seaside, if you want to sit on the balcony in the evening. Someone might benefit from knowing that the hotel has ample free parking, but be careful which spot you choose! We saw cars not straighten out-- they just pulled in at any crooked angle and left their cars like that. To be fair, we didn’t just witness this here. It was all over Sardinia. The entire accommodation site is on a hill and another car dinged our rental car door. Their heavy door must have swung open uncontrollably as they got out. So try to park “upstream” if possible. The water temperature was 24C in October, the same as the air temperature. We waded halfway out to the tower and swam the rest, which wasn’t much easier, as it’s so shallow. We then snorkeled about 10 minutes to La Pelosa beach. If you decide to do that, keep looking up every few strokes to check your route, as the current blew us a little further out than we had planned. We would love to come back and stay here again.
