We had the best time at Mangia’s Sardinia Resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The amenities were great, as was the beach right in front of the hotel, with direct access. The hotel is large, but there is a train that takes you to and from the beach. The breakfast was very complete, and everything was delicious. We had dinner at the pizza restaurant and the bistro, and both were lovely. Overall, the only heads-up is that you need to rent a car if you intend to leave the resort, as it is quite far from the main beaches and towns.

The beach was amazing, the food was delicious, and there was always plenty of choice at the buffet. Breakfast was one of our favorite parts of the day! The staff were kind and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. A great destination for families looking to unwind and enjoy Sardinia. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed at Mangia’s Sardinia Resort right at the start of the season, and although we arrived to grey skies and rain, the hotel made such an impression on us so quickly that the weather almost became irrelevant. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was outstanding. We were made to feel less like guests checking in and more like people they were genuinely happy to see. Everyone was smiling, polite, warm and relaxed. There was nothing stiff or forced about it. We were also shown to our room early, which was a lovely touch and immediately set the tone for the stay. Because it was opening day, I think there were only around eight guests in the whole resort, so of course the team had more time than they might later in the season, but even allowing for that, the level of service was exceptional. They did not just do the basics well. They went above and beyond. The moment that summed the place up for me was when we mentioned we were Chelsea fans and asked whether there might be anywhere nearby showing the FA Cup Final. It was not a huge issue, just one of those things where, if the weather is poor, it is nice to sit and watch the football. A little while later, Jake came back and told us they had sorted it. And they really had sorted it. They set up what had to be about a 150-inch projector screen in the ballroom, put out a table and chairs for the four of us, brought snacks over, found the match on Italian DAZN, and gave us what was basically our own private screening. I even offered to pay for it, and they refused, saying it had already been arranged and it was their pleasure to help us. That is the kind of thing people remember. It was thoughtful, generous and completely unnecessary in the best possible way. The rooms were excellent, very comfortable, well presented, and the whole resort felt spotless. In terms of cleanliness, everything was very well looked after throughout our stay. The overall atmosphere was calm, warm and welcoming, and although we were mainly there in the daytime rather than late into the evenings, the resort had a very relaxed and easy feel to it. I should say for fairness that we do not really have a strong view on evening entertainment or much comment on noise level, simply because we were not there for late-night entertainment and did not spend our holiday looking for it. We were there more for the daytime, the scenery, the beach, the food and the chance to switch off. For that, it was spot on. The food was genuinely excellent. It is rare that you stay somewhere with a buffet and still find different things you actually want to eat every day, but we did. We were there for five days, and the variety and quality were superb throughout. The amenities were also excellent. The beach was beautiful, the sea was crystal clear, and I genuinely do not think I have ever been in the ocean and come out feeling cleaner. It was like Sardinia had given me a full-body exfoliation and sent me back better than it found me. The location is also lovely. It feels tucked away and peaceful, which for us was part of the appeal, but there is also a small village area across the road with a supermarket and a local rooftop bar overlooking the bay. We went over there a couple of times just for a change of scene at sunset, and it was absolutely worth it. Most importantly, the final few days of our holiday became exactly what you hope Sardinia will be: beautiful weather, beautiful climate, beautiful people and beautiful food. By that point, everything had come together perfectly. A special mention to Jack, Jake, Vincenzo and Antonio, as well as a gentleman from Sicily whose name I sadly did not get. I believe Antonio was the General Manager, and if so, he should be very proud of the team there. In terms of value, what we received from the people at this hotel went far beyond what you normally expect. The warmth, the care, and the willingness to make our stay special made this feel like much more than just another resort break. We had a fantastic time here, and I can honestly say: I will be going back.

The hotel was very pleasant with great views. The check in staff where dreadful, from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. You can't check in till 4pm and you have to leave at 10am, there is no facilities to change and take a shower if you are not getting picked up till later in the day, this is not ideal. This is the first hotel out of dozens we have stayed in that don't have these facilities. Not 5 star they are trying to be. The hotel is built on a very steep slope, which makes it hard work getting around in flipflops, there is a train which goes round the hotel every 15 minutes which you can hop on. Doesn't help if you are step counting. You are a 15 minute taxi drive from the hotel if you fancy dinning out at a cost of 30 Euro each way, if you return after 11am it's 36 Euro, quite a bit onto your evening bill!! We hired a car at the hotel which was a great service, smooth and simple. Great country to drive around, fantastic views and beeches. I would come back to Sardinia, but the hotel was to remote for us, with no place to go out for a walk.
