“A quiet place full of greenery”

For the 5 days we spent exploring the south of the island I chose this accommodation and we were not disappointed, The hotel is surrounded by greenery, beach with sunbeds and free umbrellas but you have to walk up to it ~ 10 minutes, The pool is clean but we didn't use it, The rooms are ok, the kitchen is equipped with everything, wifi is good, parking is available on the street and does not cost, Breakfast costs 8 euros and is served at the pool bar, You can get there on foot relatively quickly in the city center.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of May. The resort is small, but the grounds were beautiful and well kept. Room was okay in traditional setting. Clean but can do with some refurbishment. Can do very light cooking in the kitchen, not very well equipped - no kettle provided nor a pan. Pool was too cold when we were there but it would be nice in the peak of summer. Good sized kids pool for splashing about. Beach was 15-20 mins walk. You can drive if you want, with free parking. The resort provided sunbeds and umbrella. It was supposed to be 2 sunbeds per room but as there weren’t many people, we were allowed four. We walked the length of the beach from end to end, the other end near Simius was more beautiful - clear, emerald waters with fish swimming near the shore. Sardinia is expensive so don’t expect luxury with the price you pay. The hotel is a 3 star.

The resort is a 3 star and it honestly doesn’t deserve more. The staff is really kind (with the exception of the director that behaved really impolitely in one occasion with other guests for really futile matters). The swimming pool is not always clean (late in the afternoon is almost always fool of dead insects) and the small house we were accommodated needed maintenance (toilet paper support broken, wc seat poorly fixed) not speaking about the boiler, so small that 2 or 3 of us had to take cold showers every day. It was clearly undersized for 5-6 guests. The bushes around the house needed to be trimmed and we had an invasion of ants. The air conditioner was almost useless during the hottest days and the tiles of the terrace in front of the house are of such a poor quality that they become really slippery when wet and in fact I fell and needed medication after I cleaned the surface to get rid of the ants. We travelled in 6 and they gave us 1 beach umbrella and 2 sun beds in a very narrow and overcrowded beach… a couple of times near the garbage bins… with a few garbage bags of the previous day that nobody had disposed around us …. and there is no parking that belongs to the resort (even if the travel agency stated they have some), you have to find a spot on the public street… not always an easy task.
