We have just returned from a weeks stay and we found that the hotel is in great location only approx 10min walk into the historic city of Cefalu. The whole hotel is immaculately clean the rooms are a little dated but are in a great condition including the bathrooms. They are a great size with great kitchen facilities including a full size fridge! We were there in the recent heatwave and the great sitcom was a saviour. All the staff are friendly and helpful and work extremely hard to ensure that your holiday is as relaxing as possible. The breakfast is probably one area that isn’t great a very basic continental but with having the kitchen facilities in the rooms we just made our own most days.

We're in love with Cefalu and Astro Suites is just the perfect location to enjoy it. Three of us in room 204. Oh my days talk about room with a view. Perfect sunsets every night, gorgeous views of La Rocca and the town centre. Fabulous people watching balcony. Didn't want to come home. We were checked in by the friendly manager Giovanni, who came up to the room to make sure everything was to our liking. Huge , spacious rooms. Large kitchen with Juliette balcony and sofa bed. Huge bedroom with king bed and loads of hanging/storage space. Huge bathroom with the best window in the shower. All nipping clean and cleaned on a daily basis. Huge fridge with freezer compartment. Free safe. 37E per room tourist tax. Free pool towels but 3E each time if you wanted to change it for a clean one. No English breakfasts here thankfully, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, ham, cheese fruits , pastries, yogurts, seeds, cereals, breads. All fresh, full of flavour, sit inside or in the garden area. Good start to the day. Pool area is small , and shade is limited , however we always managed to get a bed when we wanted one. The pool and hottub were too warm to cool off in so went across the road to the sea for a cool down. Even that didn't work as even the sea was warm. Cefalu is just the most gorgeous authentic place I've ever had the pleasure to visit. No maccy d's or kfc here. All fresh authentic food in a million different restaurants. Throughout our 7 day holiday we never had a bad meal and went somewhere different every night. Deco supermarket is around the corner. Top quality produce for reasonable prices and they even have a wine cooling machine. Sparkling Grillo wine for 4E , what's not to like Thank you Giovanni and the rest of the team for a wonderful , unforgettable holiday.

My daughter and I have just returned from a 4 night stay it was lovely spending quality time with her. She actually chose this hotel check in was quick the manager was friendly he showed us to our room 108. It smelled lovely it was clean the rooms are spacious, we had a lovely view of the sea, two balconies. The beds are comfy ,my daughter decided to sleep on the sofa bed she found it was comfy. Plenty of storage space, loved the little touches of kitchenette a full size fridge with two complimentary bottles of water. A ice cube tray the freezer big enough to put ice cream in. We couldn't find no fault with the room, we headed of to deco a supermarket 5 minutes away. It's a lovely shop full of fresh fruit, freshly made street food like arrancini, it's fully stocked We bought plenty of fruit,it's a very busy shop On the promenade across the road to the left is a gelateria, you can borrow a beach umbrella from the hotel which are placed in a bucket as long as you return it the beach gets packed. The hotel pool water was warm,it's cleaned everyday, the pool area is clean. The old town is a 5 minute walk plenty of souvenir shops plenty of places to eat. Some places don't open till 7.30, we found a lovely place called pasta and pasti about 10 minute walk it's open from 9-3 . You choose the pasta then the sauce this is called the express we sat in it was reasonabley priced. The staff are friendly they greet you every time with a smile, the breakfast was lovely. My daughter and I always had the croissant,the scrambled eggs were nice and hot. As far as we were concerned we were happy with the choice available. The one thing the staff didn't expect was for my daughter and I to carry our empty plates to them to save them collecting they were very grateful. I have actually booked to go here again next year as a solo traveller.

My disappointment began upon arrival. The pool area faces the street and felt very uninviting. Entering the lobby only reinforced that impression—the furnishings, artwork, and breakfast area all appeared dated and worn. When we reached our assigned suite, we were extremely disappointed. The accommodations were not at all what we expected, and we simply could not imagine staying there for our vacation. The property’s main strengths are its location directly on the waterfront and its convenient walking distance to Cefalù’s historic center. Fortunately, we were able to secure accommodations elsewhere, which ultimately saved our vacation experience in Cefalù. What is particularly surprising is the property’s exceptionally high rating on TripAdvisor. Based on our experience, the ratings created expectations that the hotel did not come close to meeting, making the overall presentation feel significantly misleading.
