Stayed here with 4 other friends, and booked a quadruple room with an extra single bed. Very quiet hotel which was super relaxing. Room / Bungalow was quite small but not crowded, and we had enough space. ACs were not bad but the one in the main room had to be on the lowest temperature and highest fan speed for quite a few hours before it made the room quite cool. Pool was brilliant and pool bar was a really nice addition. Kitchen was odd, but very well equipped and we had a table and chairs outside for our use. Staff were brilliant, super helpful and really chatty which lead to some really interesting conversations and a few jokes. They let us know about some boat trips that they were taking care of. One of the nights we were out in Giardini Naxos for a few drinks and needed a taxi home at around 2am and they had no problem coming to pick us up and only charged 3euro a person which was great. 2 supermarkets (+ATM), a lovely wine bar/restaurant, a few shops and a beach are all around a 10minute walk from the hotel. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel but buses only pass from this twice a day - next closest is a 10minute walk, or the main stop is around a 25minute walk - all very accessible. All in all, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable and we've already decided that we will be going again.

“Amazing holiday!”

Sow we arrived at villaggio artemide and I was so pleased with location overlooking Mount etna absolutely beautiful! The bungalow was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was clean and peaceful sometimes we even had the pool to ourselves. We used the local supermarket which was 10 mins walk it was huge selling everything you needed. We filled up fridge and got some washing up liquid too and sponge for sink. First night I cooked as it was getting on and some mornings I cooked breakfast. The local beach is 10 min walk which has few beach restaurants etc and plenty of sun loungers. There is another stretch of beach which my children loved on gardinia Naxos front which was quite a trek so we always got a bus or taxi (10 euros) for taxi. You can walk it but it was bit far for my children The beach at gardinia Naxos had lots to offer and some amazing restaurants on beach front and shops etc. Some. Evenings we even went there for meals, the night porter at hotel sabastenio is so lovely. He offered to be oir taxi service and was super friendly. We just used to call him for lifts and organise things. Then we used the bus which was easy and great. There's bus stop outside hotel but we never saw a bus maybe we missed it but we used the stop up the road near a hotel and it came every 30 mins or so. I'm sure there's others that come even more requarly but we used this as it was easy to walk to and we knew it well. The bus was great took us to taoramini which was absolutely stunning place. We went there twice and with one night being late got taxi service home calling Sebastiano which was 20 euros back. One day we visited we got bus back with it being early. There are 2 local good restaurants near the hotel walking distance very good value, we ate in one of them twice but most nights visited gardina Naxos, taurimina and if you go further down road in car or 30 min walk there's a lovely little road of restaurants and hotels we're I had one of the bestest pastas in my life! Once our parents came we hired a car and visited the famous "godfather village" which was really authentic and a must see very traditional otnal and wonderful. We. Also went to castle de more absolutely breathtaking. My overall experience of this place was amazing, I'll never forget it and the accommodation was perfect for what we wanted.

“Cosy, quite and clean”

What’s to say; the beds are fine, rooms equipped with all nescesarry’s and a large swimming pool. The staff is very friendly. Upon arrival late at night the closed bar was opened for us so we could buy some water and beers. Two small downsides; our shower wasn’t easily regulated as far as temper… more

What’s to say; the beds are fine, rooms equipped with all nescesarry’s and a large swimming pool. The staff is very friendly. Upon arrival late at night the closed bar was opened for us so we could buy some water and beers. Two small downsides; our shower wasn’t easily regulated as far as temperature was concerned. Either scorching hot or freezing cold. Also, the walk into town (1,5 - 2,5 km’s) isn’t a very pretty one. Besides that the hospitality and comfortlevel is great.

“Clean, simple and overprised”

We stayed in this Villaggio because staying in Taormina is way too expensive and a no-go if you are by car. We payed €130 per night for a 3-bed apartment house. It had a 2-bed bedroom and a small kitchen that was kind of a closet. The 3rd bed was in in the small living room. The kitchen was supplied just enough to cook a not too fancy dinner for three. But there was nothing to wash the dishes. The reception did not have any, so the supermarket helped out. Also, they only clean the rooms at the end of your stay. The shower faucet is a crime. It could not decide between hot and cold, so it chose randomly. That is very unconvenient, and also dangerous. You could get burned. The pool was OK, although the water was a bit dirty.
