“Wonderful Peaceful.Tranquil Stay”

As usual this place is in top of our list. We simply cannot complain about anything. The service the food the atmosphere and most of all it is family runned and they always make you feel welcomed. Well done Luigi.

Wonderful clean rooms, amazing food served with a passion, wonderful staff and most of all wonderful amazing host. 3rd time that i visited this place and so beautiful that we took an english couple with us to experience this wonderful holiday.

My wife and I stayed at Dandrea Resort last week. The accommodation on offer is listed as houses, but the place that we stayed in was more like a small apartment, which was fine for our needs - it had a bedroom, kitchen/diner, private bathroom, and a small outside area with table and chairs. The accommodation was clean, and had plenty of kitchen pots, pans, crockery and utensils to enable us to cater for ourselves. the kitchen also came pre-stocked with olive oil, salt and a few other basics. I should also mention that there is free parking available - you will need a car to get there - and free wifi. Perhaps the real selling point of this lovely place (ps. it is not a resort, in the sense that we Brits think of) is the fact that Dandrea is situated right on the Mediterranean Sea. In other words, you can walk out the back door, and there you are. It does not have its own beach, but it does have an area in which you can place your sun-loungers, towels or whatever else is at hand to soak up the rays. If you want a sandy beach, there is a public beach a mere 2 minutes walk away. If you want to bask more privately, Dandrea also has what they call a solarium on top of the building. Besides this, Dandrea is close to the beautiful baroque city of Noto and the historic city of Syracuse - both are approximately 20 minutes away. However, I have to say that we have given Dandrea an extra star because of the friendliness, helpfulness and kindness of the owners. They do not speak too much English, but they made us feel very welcome from the off. Throughout the course of the week they also made sure that we were comfortable; for example, they made sure that there were citronella candles available to ward off mosquitos. They also helped us out when we had a problem with our hire car. Their service was second to none. If you want a self-catering apartment where you can relax (as a couple or as a family), but equally use a base for getting out and about to the likes of Syracuse, Modica, Ragusa and Noto, then I would heartily recommend staying at Dandrea

“Amazing getaway in a lovely place”

This is amazing place to stay in the Caltagirone neighbourhoods. Being actually more like "agriturizmo" site, hidden in a village away from the civilization, it offers all facilities of a high proced hotel like restaurant and swimming pool. This is amazing place to stay in the Caltagirone neighbourhoods. Being actually more like "agriturizmo" site, hidden in a village away from the civilization, it offers all facilities of a high proced hotel like restaurant and swimming pool. Ideal place to stay when you get tired from the old cities narrow streets and evening noise. We were met by wild rabbit first, and then by very friendly owner, who despite the fact that it is late in the night, prepared local dinner for us (very impressive though the price including wine was incredible low). He helped with arranging wineyard trip for us, and fullfilled every request. The slight downside of the place for me was the fact that the WiFi is working only on the sitting area outside, not in the rooms. I'd highly recommend the place, especially if you get a good price offer below 100EUR per night.
