Located just outside sorrento this hotel is by far one of the best value hotels. Its around a 10 min walk from la marinella ( be careful walking the pavement is very uneven) and 20 mins to sorrento town but there was a regular free shuttle bus. There is also a train station if you wanted to get the train to pompeii or naples. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Unfortunately not all rooms have a balcony. It was fairly quiet with entertainment in the form of local singers a few nights a week. Food was ok lunch and dinner was better than breakfast by far. With a mixture of dining in the main restaurant and outside. With that being said because it was such a budget friendly holiday in comparison to hotels in sorrento town it meant that we could eat out as and when we wanted. The staff were very friendly and you can book trips direct with them if you dont book beforehand. The bar staff and waiting on staff were all really friendly and super helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Don't forget to get mosquito repellent as you get eaten alive. Sunbeds did go really quick and there wasnt any form of policing which often meant people reserved a sunbed and didn't appear till the afternoon. Which is annoying as someone else could have used it. The hotel could possibly look at doing morning or afternoon slots when they are full. There were however lots of deckchairs if you were not lucky enough to grab a lounger. Sunday and monday seemed to be changeover days as the hotel was a bit quieter then.

The hotel is dated but clean with comfortable beds. Our room was small and the balcony was only good for hanging your towels out, you couldn’t sit on it as it was very small. Safe was free which was a plus point. It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and they left a card and a bottle of Prosecco on ice, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was the same every day. A lot of sweet pastries which isn’t to my taste. Hot offering not so great. Fruit selection reasonable. Lunch was great, eating outside was lovely, shame dinner wasn’t served every night outside, as the restaurant was lacking atmosphere as were the indoor bars. Outdoor bar was super. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Jet2 rep was present every day and always had a smile for you. We are returning in October as this hotel is good value for money and a great location to explore the area from. Train station 10 minute walk. Hotel shuttle bus was really handy. There is an ice cream shop by where you get the bus, where you can sit under the lemon trees to eat your ice cream, which was only 3EUROS and delicious.

Stayed here recently and it is a lovely hotel in a good location. The rooms are dated but they are clean and functional, beds are a little hard. The corridor decor is very bizarre and not at all in keeping with the rest of the hotel which I’m sure would have looked amazing in its hey day. The pool is lovely but sun bed hogging is an issue, I’m not sure why they have deck chairs? Just replace them with more loungers and this would improve the overall situation. The food is lovely and good quality, too many cakes at breakfast could do with a better selection of fruits and cereals. Courtesy bus was very good and we used this every night to go into sorrento. Overall I would stay again as it’s a very good value hotel. Wouldn’t bother paying the extra for the balcony though as our view was of an apartment block.

Having read some negative reviews of the hotel, I was a bit apprehensive before I arrived. However, we found the hotel perfectly met our needs. It was a great base for visiting Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi, with the train station for Naples less than 10 minutes walk away. Also the complimentary shuttle bus to Sorrento was useful and ran throughout the day. The food for an all inclusive was very good, plenty of variety and with two vegetarians in the family we had lots of choice, there was always a pasta dish and salads available even on bbq nights. The drinks were good value, unlimited Peroni, Prosecco and Italian Wines available all day, however the cocktails whilst nice were quite strong !. We didn't have any problems with our rooms, they were a little dated but were clean and comfortable, and were cleaned daily with a bottle of complimentary water left in the fridge. The hallways could be vacuumed more often but that didn't affect our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and kept the place looking well maintained. The entrance and gardens were especially good. One gripe was the annoying habit of people leaving their towels on sun loungers before breakfast, but we did manage to find seating elsewhere, luckily in the shade. Overall it was very good value for money and a great base for exploring the bay of Naples coastline.
