We Stayed at this lovely family run hotel and Frank and his wonderful family as always made our stay lovely The rooms were cleaned daily and you always had fresh towels, the staff worked really hard to make sure your stay is enjoyable The food that you can purchase lunch time is reasonably priced and Lara’s Spaghetti Carbonara is the best we have had. We were B&B but had the evening meal as Rosella was doing Barbecue Spare Ribs and they didn’t disappoint they were beautiful The swimming pool and area is spotless and cleaned daily, and the pool party’s are great fun. We enjoyed our chats with Sophia and our Latte’s that she made us I recommend staying at this family run hotel you won’t be disappointed We can’t wait to go back next year Carrine and Maria

We have just come home from 10 days at this wonderful family owned hotel. Everything about our stay was excellent. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by reception, who continued to look after us throughout our stay. The hotel was immaculate and our room was cleaned every day to a high standard by the hard working staff,with the towels changed daily. The food was delicious, varied and typically Italian, with breakfast being buffet style and the evening meal served at our table by the friendly and very attentive restaurant staff. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable. We will return.

We have recently returned from an 11-night stay at the Hotel Portofino and would fully recommend it without hesitation. The hotel is family-run, having been recently taken over by the Micelotta family, who have done a fantastic job renovating the hotel extensively for the 2025 season. All of the family, in their own different ways, ensure that the hotel runs well and that guests have a great experience. The hotel is ideally placed for shops, the beach, the water park and many other attractions. There is plenty of space within the hotel and around the pool to sit and have a drink, and it's easy to find a sun lounger. There are very high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The food was excellent with plenty of choice at breakfast, lovely traditional Italian dishes in the evening and a good range of lunchtime snacks available to buy. The staff mirror the values of their owners and are all friendly, efficient and helpful. The resort is a good place to explore the region with plenty of buses to take you to different areas like Venice, Treviso, Carole and further afield. We hired a car this year which enabled us to see some really lovely places to explore and we are grateful for the courtesy parking provided. We wouldn’t normally go to the same place twice, as it's nice to have new experiences, but we have made an exception several times for this hotel, as the owners are a lovely, friendly family who are committed to ensuring their guests have a good experience. It really is no surprise that so many people go back year on year. There was a pool party once a week whilst we were there, which was very family-friendly and it was great that the owners are happy to get involved and have fun with their guests. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Lido di Jesolo and hope to go back soon.

“Adequate base for adventure”

Stayed here 31st August to 11th September. The hotel is a little tricky to find if you were dropped of in Piazza Manzini. It’s off the main strip on a side road. Reception Helpful and friendly. Everything you pay for must be through the electronic card they give you, which can be topped up to max of e50 per day. Trips are on offer in reception. The company Il Doge is the same as tour operators use, but at a lower price that their offer. Rooms Basic, double or single beds. Rooms are bright and either face the pool or street. As it’s on a side street it’s not that noisy, except for the church bells from the church down the street. They sound every hour / half an hour (they don’t last long). The room has a fridge which is useful. Air con is adequate, but it wasn’t that hot outside. Bathroom has all you need. Need to bring your own toiletries though. Some are supplied but they won’t last. Mosquitoes – bring bug spray and repellent. They are very nasty and aggressive. Bites can swell up a lot after a few days. Restaurant If you are on half board, you will be allocated a table for your stay. Great idea rather than trying to beat a rush to get one. Breakfast: A range of cold cuts, bread, cereal as well as bacon and eggs. Same every morning. Evening meal: You have a selection you choose from a menu they day before. Your checklist will be on the table for the servers. There is anti pasti which is quite nice but if busy it will go quickly. Then choice of pasta, main course (not much for vegetarians) and dessert. The latter all small portions. BEWARE despite the staff working incredibly hard service is painfully slow, 90 minutes to get through the meal one day. It is dire! I walked out one day as the wait was ridiculously long. Other time I ate out. So, if you want to have a quick meal and visit the strip – you won’t. If you are a family and happy to be confined to the hotel, you’d probably be ok. The other issue is being served the wrong meal (happened a few times) – how is beyond me what you ordered is written down on your table. Pool and beach The pool area is small but has plenty of sunbeds and chairs. It was never that busy while I was there. The pool was well maintained and clean. You can get snacks and drinks there. Service was a lot better and faster. The private beach is a small walk away. It’s a strip of beach along with other hotels who have their own allocated strip. It never seemed busy. It’s not free though and will cost e15 a day to hire. Probably why it wasn’t used. Summary: Good location, easy to get around. Staff are friendly but service in restaurant at night needs an overhaul. Prices (drinks) are quite competitive with the bars. There is a nice one just next door which is quiet and with friendly staff.
