We had a relaxing and easy time in Lignano. The hotel is the main reason for this. Its location is prime within Lignano Sabbiadoro. The hotel is located two blocks away (40m) from the main restaurant and shopping street and is right next to the beach, only a slow trafic street separates the hotel from the beach (all the hotels in town are separated by this street from the beach). The hotel has towels for guest to use on the beach. On the beach if you are from the hotel you get a free beach umbrella and two sunbeds to go with it. This is good as if you didn’t have that then it would be hard to find any space for your towels as the whole beach is basically occupied by these umbrellas (like in most of these towns in this part of Italy I saw). (See helicopter view photo I attached, the hotel is on the left side of the photo) The pool is small but nice and modern looking (the whole hotel is modern looking). Sometimes it can be difficult to find a sunbed around our pool as there are limited spaces. The hotel has a nice bar with outdoor space. Special mention to the guy that was in the bar most of the time, he was cool. The sea is sometimes very murky and has lots of seaweed and mud balls (or whatever those weird brown things were) but you’ll get use to it don’t worry. On windy days it’s worse and when there’s no wind it’s nearly clean. The sea has a great depth for playing ball games as it’s a really long way until you get to some real depth. Breakfast is really good, you get a cold buffet and can make your own fresh juices. And then you can also order à la carte warm breakfast food (omelettes, pancakes etc) from the waiters and they make it in the kitchen. Parking is very convenient, they don’t have space for all the cars in the hotel so sometimes they park your car in car park around a kilometre away from the hotel, but you don’t have to worry about that, just tell them around 10-15 mins in advance and the car will be ready in front of your hotel. Thanks Arthur and Mirko for that btw, you were great (quite shy but great). The whole hotel staff was very nice and helpful whenever we needed them. The only mini annoyance we had was the noise coming from guests at midnight and the early in the morning. Like come on guys, I’m on holiday let me sleep! You don’t have to talk loudly in the corridors late at night and in the early morning. Some noise around 7:30 also was from the cleaner I think, but I get it, he has a job to do. To finish the town itself is a very lively Italian beach side town. For the English speakers: Most of the workers speak German as their "tourist language" because 90% of tourists seem to be from Austria and Germany. The hotel itself has no "activities" for kids for example a part from the pool. But you’ll find lots of stuff to do on the beach or around Lignano. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re going to Lignano Sabbiadoro.

An important aspect was the hotel's location, services and ratings. It was a good choice in all respects, the staff is helpful, everything is clean and tidy. The breakfast is plentiful and can be customized. Parking is available on site, bicycles are available for guests. The pedestrian street is easily accessible on two corners, the sea is about 50 m away, where sunbeds and umbrellas are provided. I recommend to everyone!

Bellavista, Hotel. Excellent location. the rooms are very clean and cosy. It is an ideal place for taking a rest and relaxing at the same time .The staff is incredibly helpful and hospitable Very good food for breakfast,an enjoyable special evening drink at the bar and above all a highly professional mamagement. It was my second time at the Bellavista hotel and I hope to go there again next year .Hard to imagine a holiday without enjoying the sunny beach opposite the hotel.

I have stayed in the hotel with my family (2 kids - 10Y and 8Y) and we have enjoyed it so much. The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps from the beach and a few steps from the main promenade with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops. You will park your car in front of the hotel and the hotel staff will park it somewhere in their garage, so you have to inform reception if you want to use your car and they will happily prepare it for you. Hotel rooms are perfectly clean and cleaning ladies are very helpful and always smiling. My air condition was malfunctioning one day, but the cleaning lady immediately summoned the maintenance guy to fix it during her cleaning of the room, without us having to report it. They care and that is what makes the hotel perfect. For Breakfast there is a buffet plus you can order some additional cooked meal such as omelete, fried eggs, pancakes etc. Pool is clean with good temperature for kids. Pool benches are limited, but guests are usually nice and do not reserve it with a towel. You will get your own sea benches with parasol and you will have to find the beach staff who will show you the benches for the first time (it is around 100m to the right when you enter the beach in front of the hotel). For lunch and dinner you go to restaurants nearby (my other review) or you will just have take-away pizza in pizza fast food. You can get some sandwich in the hotel's bar, but we haven't had time to try it. It would be great if hotel would offer half board (with soup and pasta for lunch) in their restaurant as I trust it would be great, maybe sometime in future. In summary we were really surprised by the amazing quality of the hotel and their staff and we are looking forward to visit it next time.
