My family and I just got back from a lovely 9 day trip to Beaches Negril. This was our 4th trip and our children are currently ages 14 and 10. The reason we keep going back is that Beaches Negril gives us the opportunity to connect as a family while allowing our kids time to explore and make new friends and giving us some grown-up time as well. Basically, it keeps the whole family happy. The big stand out for us is always SCUBA. The fact that SCUBA is included in the cost just can't be beat particularly now that all 4 of us are certified. This year my 10yo became open water certified. Huge shout out to Queen Boss who went out of her way during the training and teaching to help my daughter feel safe and gain confidence. Ahkeem in the dive shop is another outstanding Dive Master who worked with my husband on advanced certifications. Ahkeem is very knowledgeable and has a great, calm demeanor. Honestly, everyone who works at Beaches Negril is amazing. They are warm, welcoming, and remember you year after year. The food and drinks are good, rooms comfortable, the beach is lovely, the evening entertainment is fun, but for us the water sports are absolutely the reason we keep going back

Beaches Negril | June 6–13, 2026 My 22- and 20-year-old daughters and I recently returned to Beaches Negril for what we hope will become an annual Mommy-and-Daughters trip tradition. This was our fourth visit to the resort, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. Simply put, we have zero complaints. We stayed in Room 527 in the Savannah Building, and it was absolutely beautiful. The room had been completely refreshed and felt brand new. The location was perfect as well—right in the center of the property, making everything easily accessible. What continues to set Beaches Negril apart is its people. I can’t begin to count how many times each day team members greeted us with genuine smiles and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. That level of hospitality is rare. One moment that stood out was when Leonardo, the General Manager, stopped to check on us while we were relaxing on the beach. At the time, I had no idea he was the GM. He simply introduced himself, asked how our stay was going, and even offered to bring me a drink. There is something incredibly special about leadership being visible, approachable, and actively engaged with guests. It speaks volumes about the culture of this resort. I’d also like to recognize several team members who truly went above and beyond: Michael (Check-In Team) After a very long travel day of more than 12 hours, all we wanted to do was get to our room, change into our swimsuits, grab a bite to eat, and head straight to the beach. Michael immediately understood. He quickly handled our check-in, escorted us to our room, and got our vacation started with a smile. Kevoy (Beach Lifeguard) Kevoy takes incredible pride in caring for the beach. His positivity, enthusiasm, and love for Jamaica are contagious. We loved getting to know him and hearing about his family and his passion for his country. Sash-Kay (Room Attendant) Sash-Kay is a beautiful soul who takes tremendous pride in her work. Our room was immaculate every single day, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Alisa (The Mill Hostess) Every morning started with Alisa’s warm smile. Once she learned what I liked to drink with breakfast, she had it ready for me before I even asked. She is truly a gem. Armani (The Omelet Master!) Armani greeted everyone with a huge smile each morning. Watching him manage six burners and countless custom omelet orders was like watching a conductor lead an orchestra. His energy and professionalism were impressive, and I have no doubt he has a bright future ahead. Conrad (Server at The Mill) Conrad consistently checked on us during breakfast and made us feel welcomed. When he learned my daughter enjoyed sunrise mimosas, he thoughtfully brought one to her without being asked. Courtney (Photographer) We met Courtney on the beach and signed up for a family photo session. He made the entire experience easy, relaxed, and fun. He captured so many beautiful moments that narrowing down our selections was difficult. Dasha (Stella’s Hostess) Dasha’s smile lights up the room. We dined at Stella’s twice during our stay, and she remembered us by name when we returned. That level of personal attention speaks volumes about her commitment to guest service. Jamaro (Beach Lifeguard) Jamaro worked on Kevoy’s days off and was equally wonderful. He kept the beach looking beautiful and even stopped to show us a land crab that a bird had dropped, sharing a little Jamaican culture and history along the way. Rojay (Pool Bartender Extraordinaire) Rojay is a Beaches Negril legend in our book. We remembered him from previous visits and were thrilled to see him again. His smile is unforgettable, and he manages the busy pool bar with incredible efficiency and grace. Glenroy (Bartender & Club Liquid Wrangler) Club Liquid gets busy after hours, but Glenroy handles it all like a pro. His energy and professionalism keep everything running smoothly. Mario (Bartender & Butler-in-Training) Congratulations, Mario! We were so excited to hear you’re training to become a Butler. Your hard work, dedication, and positive attitude are paying off. We can’t wait to return and see you thriving in your new role. Edgar (Sous Chef, Mariachi’s) We appreciated seeing Edgar actively walking through the restaurant and checking on guests and their meals. That personal touch makes a difference. As for dining, our favorites were Stella’s, the Chicken and Salad food trucks, the Jerk Shack, the BBQ, and Mariachi’s. The only restaurant that wasn’t for us was Taku, which we found to be much too cold inside. I’ve often said that Beaches Negril is the only Beaches resort we consistently return to, and this trip reminded me exactly why. As my daughters move into adulthood, I am so grateful that we chose Beaches Negril to begin this new annual tradition together. Thank you to the entire Beaches Negril team for helping create some of our favorite family memories. We can’t wait to return.

“Review/ Recommendation/ Experience at the Beaches Negril Resort in Jamaica”

This past week (May 20,2026–June 4, 2026) my family and I visited Beaches Negril, Jamaica. We have visited Beaches Negril, Jamaica 6 other times and have always been very pleased with our vacation there. This time was no different. In this review, I would like to thoroughly review my experience, provide feedback, give other travelers advice, and recognize some of the individuals who made our past trip to Beaches Negril as amazing as it was. Water Sports: My family and I loved taking advantage of the included water sports offered. Included water sports offered at Beaches Negril are snorkeling, knee boarding/ water skiing (only offered in the morning), banana boat rides (offered 2–4pm), glass bottom boat rides, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and water tricycling. The only feedback I have concerning water sports at the resort is improving the signup process for snorkeling by either adding more spots to each trip or adding more trips per day. As of now, there are 3 snorkeling trips each day (10am, 11am, and 1pm). There are only 10 spots available per trip and you can only sign up a day in advance (starting at 8am), making it extremely difficult to sign up. My father and I got to the water sports at 8:02am one morning on our trip, and all of the spots on all of the three trips were already completely booked for the next day. This leads to stress and anxiety around signing up and making sure my family gets to experience the opportunities we paid for when booking the trip. Fortunately, we were able to sign up for snorkeling some days and had a great time! We saw sea snakes, a wide variety of fish, string rays, a sea turtle, sea cucumbers, various types of sea urchins and starfish, and sea cucumbers. Raj, Baba, and Julian were all great guides and ensured that we all were comfortable and had an amazing experience! Raj even came in the water with us and let us hold some of the sea creatures! I recommend that all Beaches guest make sure that they do snorkeling at least once, as I can guarantee you will have a great time and see amazing ocean life. Food and Refreshments: Drinks: The Beaches Negril resort has all-inclusive bars around the resort that have an unimaginable amount of drinks for both children and adults. All of the bartenders are extremely; however, one bartender stood out named Cameisha. Somehow, the drinks that she made were better than the rest, and she was always kind and showed genuine care. Some of my family’s favorite drinks include mango daiquiri, mudslide, banana daiquiri, chocolate monkey, Bob Marley, and Barbie. We also appreciated how each bar had cold water bottles that they gave to anyone who asked. Restaurants: Fortunately, I have not had a negative experience at any of the restaurants at Beaches Negril. They offer options for anyone with dietary restrictions, allergies, or certain preferences. As a vegetarian, I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to work with my family and I. If I had to choose a favorite restaurant, The Mill and Jerk Shack. The Mill has a buffet for all three meals. They always have a variety of veggies, fruits, breads, desserts, kid dishes, entrees, and sides to choose from. A man named Errol who worked at The Mill always kindly greeted my family and I, and he patiently answered any of the questions I had concerning the ingredients of some dishes (to see if they were vegetarian-friendly or not). The Jerk Shack offers lunch and dinner. My entire family loved the vegetarian chickpea curry and sweet potato on the dinner menu! Even if you are not vegetarian, I recommend trying this meal, as it was my entires family’s favorite meal on the trip. Cafe de Paris: Cafe de Paris is the included cafe at Beaches Negril that opens early in the morning and closes late at night. Anyone can walk in and order from their large variety of hot coffees/ tea, iced coffees, fresh crêpes (made in front of you), ice cream, donuts, cakes, desserts, hot chocolate, and more! My family loved the cafe and went in multiple times each day! Yo-yo’s: Yo-yo’s is Beaches Negril’s included frozen yogurt place. They have many flavors, syrups, and toppings to choose from! My entire family agreed that Yo-yo’s frozen yogurt is better than any frozen yogurt we have had in the United States. Unfortunately, there were multiple times on our past trip when the frozen yogurt came out of the machine like soup. I am unsure why this happened so often, and it was a bummer every time it happened. Nevertheless, Yo-yo’s was a highlight of our Beaches experience. Dietary Restrictions/ Allergies: Beaches Negril has a culinary desk that any guest can go to and discuss any dietary restrictions or allergies they have. Since my family and I are vegetarians, we engaged with the culinary desk, and they helped us greatly! Last trip, we were even able to request that a head chef make us a special vegetarian meal and were pleasantly surprised with a delicious 4 course meal. Even if you have dietary restrictions/ allergies and do not meet with the culinary desk, your waiter will ask before every meal and communicate your dietary restriction/ allergy to the kitchen to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience. Other Food and Beverage Options: On top of the fine-dining restaurants, buffet, frozen yogurt place, bars, and cafe, Beaches Negril also has a snow cone place, grill, chicken food truck, salad/bowl food truck, soft serve ice cream machine, pizza place, and nacho bar. The food/snack options are endless. It is almost impossible to try all of the food options. My family does miss the popcorn machine that used to be there years ago, as we enjoyed getting popcorn before the shows. Entertainment: During the day, Beaches Negril offers entertainment from music trivia and water balloon tosses to beach Olympics and BINGO. Each night, there is a Sesame Street show (at 6pm), live professional show, karaoke, and more! When my family and I visited Beaches Negril in 2024, they had stopped their Sesame Street shows; therefore, I was glad to see they brought them back, for even I as an adult enjoy seeing the characters and how they engage with and bring joy to the children at the resort. One thing that has not changed is the raw talent and positive energy the entertainment crew radiates both when preforming and not preforming. The professional entertainment is always top-tier and better than anything you see on America’s Got Talent or Dancing With The Stars. Waterpark: My entire family has always had a blast at the Beaches Negril waterpark. The waterpark offers a lazy river, kids section, hot tubs, two larger waterslides, a swim up bar, and beach access. Being a waterslide-lover, I would love to see Beaches Negril construct more waterslides for older kids and adults because the two waterslides they have can get old after a day or two. Other Activities: Beaches Negril offers activities throughout the day for different age groups. We always have to ask for the paper with the schedule of activities, but I recommend for all Beaches guests to give a few of the activities a shot! For babies and toddlers Beaches has activities, such as Elmocize with Elmo, Everyday Hero with Super Grover, or bake cookies with Cookie Monster. When my children were younger, they loved these activities and meeting the actual characters! The activities are even enjoyable for the parents! For tweens and teens, they have activities, such as bracelet making and tie-dying. There are also foosball tables, pool tables, pingpong, putt putt, and beach volleyball available at all times! Room: Beaches has always provided a clean and welcoming room for my family to stay in. Each room comes with a bathroom, shower, stocked refrigerator, coffee/ coffee machine, safe, phone, TV, couch, and closet. My family of four have always found the rooms at Beaches Negril comfortable. The housekeepers come twice a day, once in the morning/afternoon to clean and restock the room and once in the evening to turn down the bed. I appreciate the housekeepers’ thoroughness in cleaning and keeping the room in good order. Staff: From the gardeners and restaurant waiters to the housekeepers and managers, all of the Beaches Negril staff are extremely kind and respectful to all of the guests. I did not have a single negative interaction with any of the staff, and they were all extremely welcoming. It was clear that their topmost priority was ensuring that all guests had a relaxing and fun vacation. In all, I highly recommend Beaches Negril to everyone and anyone. When asked, my family and I always say that Beaches Negril is our favorite vacation place of all times, as we have had some of our best memories there, and the resort and staff never disappoints.

We just completed our second trip to Beaches Negril and rebooked while on property. I’m beyond amazed at the staff and overall hospitality of the resort. With children four years apart the staff was amazing and accommodating to all ages. The food was excellent with a lot of choices and flexible for children with children’s menus at each onsite restaurant. I highly recommend this property.
