We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Sheraton Maldives, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service. We had the chance to dine at several outlets including Feast, Anchorage Bar, Chopstix, Kakuni, and Masala Hut. Each venue had its own unique charm, but Chopstix was definitely our favorite—the food was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to the wonderful staff who made our stay even more special. Front Office staff Javid was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. In the F&B team, Saleem, Fakih, Fiyaz, and Lakshmee provided excellent service and were always attentive and friendly. We also truly appreciate the Chopstix team for their outstanding hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Housekeeping, especially Shakaau, for the beautiful bed decoration that added a lovely touch to our anniversary celebration. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend Sheraton Maldives for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a relaxing getaway. We look forward to visiting again!

Location & Setting Very conveniently located near Malé, making transfers quick and easy. The island itself is beautifully maintained, with clean, well-kept paths and a peaceful atmosphere. Accommodation We stayed in a beachfront cottage and it was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, with an outdoor shower and toilet. Just a few steps through the garden and you’re on the beach. We also spent a night in an overwater bungalow, which was incredible with direct sea access. Beach & Water The water is crystal clear and warm, and the sand is incredibly soft. Near the bungalows, there’s a coral area where we saw plenty of fish, baby sharks, and even manta rays. Food & Dining There are 7 restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican). We tried most of them and the food felt authentic. Special shoutout to Layaan (Anchorage), Shaazu (Kakuni), and Phailyn ❤️ at Baan Thai for great service. Breakfast Excellent variety: crepes, dosa station, eggs, fresh fruits, salads, fresh juices, pastries and all your usuals. Do try the Maldivian breakfast! Service Housekeeping was fantastic, and every staff member we met was friendly, polite, and always smiling. Overall Experience We visited in April (start of rainy season), and it was very quiet and tranquil. Overall, a fantastic few days—highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

I stayed here for 4 nights after having my flight home cancelled. I have to say the place is stunning! The staff here are the friendliest people of any resort I have stayed at. Huge shoutout to the manager Meigan for his hospitality and outstanding service. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and was super helpful throughout the stay. Thank you Sir! I stayed in the overwater bungalow and it was an incredible experience. Thank you also to Maria who was amazing and a pleasure to chat with at breakfast and dinner service. Highly recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed!

“Stunning location: all about the whitw sand beach and crystal clear water”

We bought a "day pass" for the resort from our cruise ship. The pass included transport to/from the resort, access to the beach and pool, open bar/ all drinks, and lunch. The resort itself is stunning! Beautiful, crystal clear and clean water. Fabulous views. I meandered around some of the different paths through natural landscaping and extremely well maintained public areas. With limited time for the trip, some of the logistics were not very efficently handled. We had to wait for transportation on arrival to the island, then when we got to the entry, we had to fillout a form and get a wristband ( with rather confusing instructions... One form per person, no you can include both husband/ wife in one form -- only need name and email and signature, no fill out THIS section also...). Instead, provide the form on the boat so we can arrive with it DONE. The return was worse: be at the front at 4:00. Wait there for 15 minutes. Get to the pier -- wait THERE for 15 minutes. Not good. The beach was stunning but not enough loungers beachside. There were only 8 available with umbrellas so they were full when we arrived. There were beds with canopies but not comfortable to get in/ out for an older couple. We found some loungers on a little pier that had trees for shade so opted for those. But the shade did not last long and the loungers did not had a " sit upright" option - weird. But once you hopped in the ocean, none of that mattered! The water was awesome! Soft, white sand, some coral pieces, but I did not need my water shoes at all. Easy walk into the ocean but be aware: a few feet in, there is a big drop off so I went from just over my knees to over my head -- boom! All good tho! The saltwater it so buoyant I just bounced around! The more shallow water was quite warm, the deeper water was cooler and refreshing! Once the sun moved and we no longer had shade, we moved to the pool. The pool was GREAT! Clean, refreshing water. Large, so not crowded. Shallow end to progressively deeper. Scenic waterfall. All good! Towels provided. Attentive bar staff kept us well hydrated. Lunch: service was spotty. We found a table but had a hard time getting a waiter. And our table and the two next to it were covered with the plates, glasses, etc from the previous guests. We ended up clearing our table ourselves. We got a waiter, asked him to clear the table ( got an eye roll) and placed our order. Drinks were promptly delivered and refills were automatic (good). Appetizers (calamari and risotto balls) were tasty with substantial serving sizes ( could have been smaller! Was more like a "table sharing" size!) My burger came relatively quickly. Flavorful! And the fries were hot and perfectly crispy. However, my husband's pizza did not come. We just ended up sharing my burger. After 25 minutes, we canceled the pizza order. The waiter was not happy: said " But it is almost ready!" We said: "give it to somebody else." Net/net: good food but poor timing for prep/delivery. Bottom line: stunning location, fabulous ocean, very well maintained. Wish we had more time here!
