My stay at Verdi St. George’s Bay Marina has been excellent from start to finish. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of St. Julian’s, right on the seafront, with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Everything you need is within walking distance, while the hotel itself offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities are outstanding. There are several swimming pools, a great spa, comfortable public areas, and everything is maintained to a very high standard. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its impressive choice of restaurants. There is something for every taste, from casual dining to fine dining, including a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant. It is a great place for anyone who enjoys good food. The breakfast deserves special recognition. The selection is exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality dishes. Fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses, hot dishes, local specialties, desserts, excellent coffee—everything is well organized, constantly replenished, and presented beautifully. It is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have experienced. I would also like to recognize the staff, who are the hotel’s greatest asset. Our first impression of the hotel came from the reception team. Kesar and Amit welcomed us professionally and with genuine friendliness. We had a small issue during our stay, and they resolved it quickly and efficiently without any unnecessary complications. They provided all the information we needed, were always approachable, and handled every request with professionalism and a positive attitude. They made us feel confident that we were in good hands. The restaurant team also deserves the highest praise. Every morning they provide excellent service, always remaining attentive, courteous, and willing to help. A special thank you to Mikal, the restaurant manager. She is an exceptional professional who runs the restaurant flawlessly. Her warmth, positive attitude, and genuine care for every guest create a welcoming atmosphere every morning. She is always smiling, attentive, and ready to help, making every breakfast even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Manahang and Jagadish. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine respect for guests stand out. They are always welcoming, happy to recommend dishes, and consistently provide first-class service. Their positive attitude makes every breakfast an enjoyable experience. What impressed me most was the consistency of the service. Every member of the staff works with professionalism, respect, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. That level of dedication is not something you find everywhere. Verdi St. George’s Bay Marina is a hotel I can confidently recommend. Excellent location, outstanding facilities, superb dining options, and, above all, a team of people who clearly take pride in what they do. I will definitely return.

“Super experience”

Wonderful location, employees always nice, beautiful view! Also the food has been delicious, at breakfast, restaurant Broadside and Mananni as well. I hope to come back in this amazing property

“Too much building work going on for me to return for a couple of years”

We stayed at the Verdi over the Easter break. weather wasn't good for most of our week. We stayed on the reception level facing St Georges Bay. We stayed at the Verdi over the Easter break. weather wasn't good for most of our week. We stayed on the reception level facing St Georges Bay. Expected more of the view as not as pretty as I was expecting. The room - a good size. Cleaned to a good standard, Bed comfy with TV and tea and coffee good. Plenty of storage space. We stayed B & B which was average eggs cooked not fresh and everything in heated round tubs. Fruit and pastries everything there but small amounts, Restaurant kept clean and nice area to sit out Pool area there are a couple of small pools on the bay side. U can go to the hotel up the road a short distance which is very nice and plenty of sun beds. The reception staff very helpful and always willing to help cannot fault them. We were not warned about the massive Hard Rock hotel that is been built and I mean massive with cement dust, large lorries banging and noise every day it did spoil our stay. It is meant to be ready in July but even the builders were not sure if it would be done. So would I return to the Verdi hotel - maybe in a few years. I like Malta but so much building work going on everywhere and not sure the hard rock hotel will enhance the area we did struggle getting on the buses to get to Valetta so not sure it will get easier when this massive hotel opens which is such a shame.

The hotel is in the middle of a construction site but it only impacted us when leaving the hotel. The hotel it self is nice, we stayed in a family room which was a great size and a cot was provided. The pool is a short walk in the neighbour hotel., with a few pools to choose from including a kids pool which we had to ourselves most of the week. I think both hotels are a little dated and I need of a bit of TLC. We dined in 3 of the restaurants and they were amazing, Bull and Caviar was our favourite.
