Excellent for a by-the-pool holiday with (small) children. Great courtesy parking, always found place. Friendly staff, excellent, varied breakfast, good dinner (in a location with few nearby options), decent (without exaggerating) entertainment, sincere effort to make the stay pleasurable. If quiet sought after, adult-only area strongly recommended. Sort of quite far from the beach, shuttle yes, but last shuttle 17:00, a bit too early for the long June days.

“Hotel is nice how ever could be better”

The hotel is nice modern and well maintained . However when you get to your room which are nice you get a bottle of water to make your tea coffee and that's the only one you get all week also they charge to use the safe in the room I've never paid only a refundable deposit before . The hotel is nice modern and well maintained . However when you get to your room which are nice you get a bottle of water to make your tea coffee and that's the only one you get all week also they charge to use the safe in the room I've never paid only a refundable deposit before . Pool is lovely loads sun beds plenty to go around . I went for the premium drinks package which is not a lot different to the normal all inclusive package a lot of drinks not included also you can't get a drink without paying in the foyer bar . Food is generally good ok if you like buffet food . Some staff friendly some not . If you look on google maps the hotel looks like it's on the beach it is but it's surrounded by a really nice golf course So you can't get to any where really without a taxi .

We went with easyJet and there is nothing to say you can only smoke in a designated area you couldn’t smoke outside your room which was a shock. You also had to pay for the special beds again no mention when booked. We went all inclusive plus as we like the premium drinks. What makes the hotel is its staff they are all friendly and smiling and the food. While not as big as a lot of hotels I’ve been to there was always something I wanted to eat and you could tell if was very fresh and full of flavour. An information pack in your room might help telling you of additional charges, no smoking and the fact that there is a little shop at the from we only saw going home. I wouldn’t think it’s best for children but that’s just my option. Overall a great hotel and we would go back.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had a few minor maintenance issues with the rooms, with doors not locking and a hole in the wall but these were rectified really quickly when we raised them. The food was generally good, lots of variety and a good supply of replenished dishes. We did find it extremely salty though, it would've been better with a lot less salt - that way people can add it to their own tastes. We found the water availability a bit puzzling, fresh drinking water is only available when the restaurant and bars are open, otherwise you have to either risk the tap water in the room or buy bottles of water from a vending machine or the small mini market. I found this to be contrary to the expectations of being at an all inclusive resort. We were given two coffee pods for the machine in our room at the beginning of our stay, thinking they'd be replenished every day but they're weren't. When we enquired, the staff told us only the first two pods are free, any subsequent pods you need to buy yourself either from the bar or mini market. Drinks in general weren't fantastic, we didn't bother paying for the extra premium drinks, because reviews on here said it wasn't worth it. So I've no idea what the premium would get you, but I can say that the standard drinks menu was varied, but the drinks were very watered down and didn't taste great - I've no idea if the premium versions were any better, but we all decided that we'd had enough of paying extra for things. There was a lot of noise throughout the week from various grounds maintenance machinery - they clearly keep the place really clean and it's all very well maintained but that comes at the cost of a few early morning wake ups from what sounded like chainsaws and ride on lawn mowers. The mowers were pretty much constant throughout the day, as they were on the neighbouring golf course. The evening entertainment was pretty poor, it was mostly individual vocalists singing to backing tracks, which is only one step away from karaoke and they were all pretty dire. The volume levels were also insane - you couldn't sit in the bar area and have a conversation, we had to move every time the acts started up in the evening. Mas Palomas itself is nice, lots of bars, restaurants and a huge array of designer outlets to browse around. The beach is beautiful (just be aware of the nudist bit - we found ourselves in the middle of a lot of naked people on the course of a stroll down the beach, which was unexpected! Lol!) There's a free coach from the hotel to the beach at intervals throughout the day. The beach is about a 1.5 mile walk from the hotel. We chose to walk it most days, it's a nice wide and even pathway all the way and we preferred it to the stuffy, often crowded bus. All in all, we had a good time but the extras we had to pay for made us feel a little ripped off by the end of it.
