We have just returned from a lovely stay at Siesta Suites. Our hostess welcomed us and showed us around. There is everything you need here. A great rooftop area and an excellent covered patio off the kitchen. Which is where we spent the majority of our time when we were in. Fresh bread rolls were delivered every morning. A great touch. The kitchen has all the gadgets and the shower in the ensuite is amazing. It is about a 30 min walk to the Yumbo as there is a bit of a hill but we used taxis after the first day as they were so cheap. I would highly recommend Siesta Suites and we look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Gran Canaria.

“A little bit of paradise <3”

We booked Siesta suites not for location but for "get away from it all" - and you get just that. We arrived at about 20.30 and after pressing the reception button we were warmly greeted and immediately shown to our villa. We booked Siesta suites not for location but for "get away from it all" - and you get just that. We arrived at about 20.30 and after pressing the reception button we were warmly greeted and immediately shown to our villa. Ankela (might have spelt that wrong and if so, apologies) couldn't do more for us during our 5 day stay - nothing was too much trouble. As others have said there are all sorts of facilities to make use of but as our stay was short and for r&r, all we really made use of was the pool. There is enough sun loungers that you can have one each even if all 4 villas are fully populated but while we were there at the most there were only another 3-4 people around the pool at any one time. Also the pool isn't chemically treated so you don't get that chlorine smell and we could swim in there with our eyes open - a lovely pool! Each villa has a private sun terrace and 2 more sun loungers available up there, this space was wonderfully private and a real suntrap - we ate dinner up there one evening too and had a lovely view of the sunset. Because it's residential you get the odd hound barking but in no way does that disturb. The cleaners were amazing - we didn't realise they'd load the dishwasher and set it running if you hadn't done all your washing up - we actually felt a bit slobbish on the first morning when we saw she'd done it for us! The villa was immaculate and another nice touch was the safe provided was free, as was the wifi - you don't always get that. The wifi was really good too and rarely dropped out. I can't think of a single negative point to make about this beautiful place - from the bread delivered first thing in the morning to the respectful quiet of others in the neighbouring villas, this is a really super little place and if we ever wanted or needed another retreat to sun and doing-nothingness we'd have no hesitation in coming back. If you want to get away and just relax, this is the place. There are only 4 villas in the complex which overlook a lovely environment-friendly pool. The villas are comfortable and wifi is fast. There are lot of activities to do if interested in the complex: bikes, mini-golf,table tennis, darts (may need an upgrade), pool and a squat court. There is a tiny gym that can be used. It is a very peaceful place and I recommend it.

“Needs updating”

Not a four star anymore, unfortunately. We have been here couple of times before and that made us coming back again. Aircon is not working in all rooms, power sockets are loose, floors super dirty, no daily cleaning, no slippers, no bathropes, the sun loungers are dirty and falling apart, the show… more

Not a four star anymore, unfortunately. We have been here couple of times before and that made us coming back again. Aircon is not working in all rooms, power sockets are loose, floors super dirty, no daily cleaning, no slippers, no bathropes, the sun loungers are dirty and falling apart, the shower works but is broken, no shampoo, etc. All these use to be in good shape and provided. All in all the place requires updating… But Angela and her team provides good service and the place is as peacefull as before.
