Our stay at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos was truly exceptional, and what set it apart was the genuine care and attention shown by the staff across the entire resort. This was one of the most thoughtful and well‑rounded family vacations we have had. From the start, Montserrat stood out in an extraordinary way. No request was ever too small or too big, and she was an excellent listener who paid close attention to every detail, from bringing extra blankets to coordinating meaningful experiences. We had a small miscommunication with a reservation, and when I spoke with her, her follow‑through was incredible. She was transparent, took full ownership, and resolved it in a professional and thoughtful manner. Many people say they will “look into it,” but she truly does. She also ensured our family dinner on the beach went perfectly, captured beautiful family photos without being asked, and personally made sure our airport transportation was arranged and that we arrived safely. Her level of care truly set the tone for our stay. Luis, our assigned butler, was wonderful. He was responsive, kind, and knowledgeable, and helped us make the most of the resort with great recommendations and consistent support. One of the highlights of our trip was an amazing dinner on the beach to end our stay. We enjoyed surf and turf as a family, and the entire experience was beautifully done and very special. Our son does not particularly enjoy all seafood, and the team at Farina Italian went above and beyond by preparing a chicken parmesan with side spaghetti just for him. He absolutely loved it, along with the lemon sorbet and strawberry dessert. It was a perfect way to end our trip as a family. We also really liked the variety of dining options available throughout the resort, including Indian, Mexican, grill, Asian, buffet, Italian, and French. It made it easy for everyone in our family to find something they enjoyed each day. The coffee shop was exceptional and far better than what we have experienced at other all‑inclusive resorts. It truly felt open when you needed it, the baked goods were always fresh, and the staff were consistently friendly. Our son loved stopping in for passionfruit gelato, and we really appreciated the non‑dairy options. Dining at Dozo Hibachi was another highlight, thanks to Ramone, who was absolutely hilarious and made the experience so much fun. What really stood out was that he remembered us when we saw him again a few days later, which made the experience feel personal and genuine. The pool area was fantastic. The pool was comfortably warm, the entire resort was kept extremely clean, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. The music was always bumping, and we loved that the DJ took guest requests. One afternoon, the DJ even dressed up as an inflatable deer, which our son thought was hilarious and is still talking about. At the pool, Genaro was always moving, helping guests beyond his assigned area, and remembered our names and drinks. At the kids pool, Cesar was especially kind, and a memorable moment was when he served fresh coconut with such warmth and care. The fitness classes were excellent, especially sunrise yoga at the lagoon with Lizeth, Adrian, and Moises. The boot camp with Adrian and the arms and glutes class with Lizeth were great workouts, and the facilities were beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The spa was another highlight. I booked the Tropical Package with Annelle, who was incredible and never rushed the service. One thoughtful touch was braiding my hair while giving a relaxing scalp massage. My husband also had reflexology and said he had the best sleep that night in a long time. The Kids Zone was thoughtfully run, with Connie and Tania never pressuring our child to participate and allowing for meaningful family time. The Teen Zone with Constanza was also welcoming. We also really appreciated how safe we felt throughout our stay, both on the resort and even when we left the property. It gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. One final detail that meant a lot to us is that we do not drink alcohol. My spouse always felt comfortable ordering non‑alcoholic beverages with no pressure or change in service, which speaks to the inclusive and respectful environment. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos delivers genuine warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service. We left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and already looking forward to returning.

“Amazing Service”

We can't wait to come back in February. Service by the pool is great all around however if you are lucky enough to have Santiago as your server it will be amazing

We were not sure what to expect; for me, always some trepidation as I enter a resort hotel lobby—worried about what can go wrong. However, this feeling was soon dispelled as Hyatt really surprised us. It’s not that Hyatt is not a quality hotel chain, indeed it is. We just didn’t know for sure how this resort would stack up as so many “all inclusive” places have terrible food as they pretend to be experts is various global cuisines. Some the service is terrible, others, the drinks by the pool not so good. First world problems clearly. Never fear for Hyatt Ziva stands out in all respects. Service amazing. Room in main building right in center for perfect view. They helped me celebrate my wife’s birthday with all kinds of little things here and there. Restaurants very good. The most surprising to me was the Hacienda grill (steakhouse) as the atmosphere was not that great—though the service and food made up for it. I expected little with the roasted chicken I ordered and it turned out to be the best chicken I ever had. Italian, seafood, and Asian was also decent. We never made it to the Mexican or Indian place despite the latter having a new chef and my love of Indian food. We had “free” ceviche and salads everyday plus tacos at breakfast so didn’t feel the urge to go to Mexican dinner. By the way, the quesadilla stand at breakfast was outstanding. Wish I could bring that home with me. If you are a Hyatt member, the club room is outstanding. Taco truck great. Coffee shop outstanding—why doesn’t everyone leave a little extra (tip) for them? I never understand that. Too many entitled gringos who don’t want to tip a little here and there. Come on folks, even though we are not wealthy, it makes a world of difference for them. There is a theatre to watch a different show every night, and what we saw was decent, though we were busy roaming the halls and drinking tequila most of the time. Thanks to Aliseth, our Butler (as they call it), ask for her as she genuinely does care about the guests. Bryan and Antonio our bell people were outstanding. Sorry to not remember his name but the gentleman running the club room most days was excellent also. Wait, someone just mentioned his name was Alfredo. Great drinks, good service, nice food (except for one night when the fish was undercooked—funny, we love sushi, but when fish that is intended to be cooked comes out a bit raw unintentionally, it doesn’t seem right. But let me tell you the rest of the food made up for it. Ribs, Asian style chicken, fresh vegetables…wow. Oh and a juice bar before noon next to the pool. Nice touch and very good. Drinks are just average at the pool, relying too much on sweet syrups that are just too much. Recommend they dial back the sugar and make higher quality drinks, even if there is a fee for that. The mixes are not great, with exception of the mango. We purchased some high quality tequila at La Comer nearby and just used that in the mango drink because there was hardly any liquor in it. Weather perfect this time of year. We will be back Hyatt.

“Excellent trip!”

Overall a great stay, but the seafood restaurant left much to be desired. Its a quieter resort which I appreciated, and loved everything it had to offer. Rooms were perfect, and loved the proximity to town. Would stay here again!
