me and my boyfriend traveled here for a week and it was incredible. from the food, to the staff, to the room everything was perfect. we loved that this resort has the options of partying and also relaxing. i would recommend this to anyone, and we would 100% return to this resort!

I loveee this hotel and I'm definitely coming back there or at least another Riu in Cancun! I was scared because the reviews were bad or mixed feelings but I'm so glad I came. The service was 10/10 everyone is super super nice and welcoming! I recommend using a physical credit card if you pay for your room arriving at the resort. We used Apple Pay with our phones to pay for our room arriving at the resort and we had so many issues because of that, I believe their machine isn't the best for that. We had to divide the payment in small amounts, some were going through, some were not and telling to call our bank. The staff was very nice and patient about it by offering us a lunch pass to go eat the time we find a solution to finish paying for the room. We ended up coming back a few hours later and we manage to pay fully after many many tries and calls with our bank. But I still won't recommend paying with Apple Pay. We had an amazing view from our room so please take a sea view , you won't regret it. I really liked the room in general but the bathroom are not very very modern. The food was honestly a 7/10, it's not 5 stars restaurant food but it's not disgusting either! They have a lot of food options but as a picky eater I was eating the basics every day at the buffet but I was fine with that! The service at the steakhouse was very good , another client told us that if don't have a reservation we won't be able to come but when we called the hotel told us making a reservation is not possible since it's first come first serve. Make sure to read the rules/dress code before coming or joining a line because if you don't respect that they'll deny you access!! The steakhouse opened at 6 and we entered a small line around 5:55 and we didn't wait that long , I think by 6:05 we were seated. Maybe it depends on the days but from the reviews, I was expecting worse. The alcohol can be watered down , but sometimes not at all!! So if you want to get drunk I'll recommend taking shot first and then cocktails with alcohol inside. Or I feel like it just depends of the time , at night it tasted more watered down then during the day, it might also depend of which bar you're taking it, for my opinion. At a restaurant, a woman gave us a wine that was sooo watered down it literally tasted like water, but I think she heard us saying that so when our glass were empty she gave us a new one that 100% wine lol. For Riu Party, I went to the white party it was a 8/10 with not that many people , but the pink party was a 10/10 and there were a looot of people so be ready!! It was very easy to find our bus when leaving Riu Caribe since a lot a staff were there to guide us , if you're too drunk just say the name of your hotel and they'll show you the bus lol ! The beach and the pools were clean and not crowded at all. The seats near the pool might be crowded at some specific pools but not all of them, plus if you find seats with no umbrella you can ask the staff and they'll kindly set up one for you. I've seen in some reviews that people were saying that they payed for the wifi but it's been free during all my stay !

What lets this place down in the clientele’s pack of respect for others throughout the night, with people shouting, banging and singing at all hours of the night. I’ve never slept so poorly on holiday and we always choose busy locations and lively hotels.
