“Modest and clean hotel with excellent location”
Decent and reasonable cost hotel. We came here for work and didn’t want an expensive hotel. It is clean though oldish. Has a nice pool and tropical flavor. Staff is friendly. “Nice Cozy Hotel”
The first 2 nights we did not have a nice view, we were facing the back of the hotel. We asked the management to change our room for a view of the pool, which they did for a little extra money. “Will go back”
Staff is great, working on making things better. New beds & tvs this year. Always there to fix what needs to be fixed. Cant say enough about the staff and management. Most speak fluent english and will take the time to help you with your spanish. Makes you feel like family!!

“Not Bad”
El Tropicano is a decent hotel. You have to remember where you are and at what cost. If you want a 5 star resort, then pay for it. This hotel meets your needs in every way at a cost that is respectable. Close to all amenities and enjoyed the Pizza Hut down the street :)
