The place is clean, we,ve had to argue about our room in the past in Mexico. Not this time. I got the ocean view with the king bed we asked for. Our room was cleaned daily. We had a fun time. The pool guy does take requests for music, and does a nice mix of English music and Spanish music. The pool guy Daniel was fun, the others don’t speak English. Every day when announcing the events, it was only in Spanish. They did something they call crazy game every day. But I didn’t know what it was til I saw it happen. I had a guy that I think had an office, not sure but I think he was a higher up Jorge who checked on us daily to see if he could do anything to make our experience better. He was very helpful and he got us reservations at Rossy’s and set up a van for 8 of us to get back to the airport. I also want to mention gueillma not sure the spelling is correct, but she took care of us for breakfast. Always got us mimosa’s. The lunch hut Alexander was a great kid, spoke English and threw fresh fries in whenever I came to the snack shack. My only real complaint was I didn’t know what was going on at the pool. And too many kids were sitting at the pool bar, even though there is a clear sign that says nobody under 18 they don’t enforce it.

What a beautiful and authentic place to visit! The views from your room are unbelievable! 99% of the guests are people from in-land Mexico and they allow day passes. What a beautiful and authentic place to visit! The views from your room are unbelievable! 99% of the guests are people from in-land Mexico and they allow day passes. The pool is very crowded and dirty/ murky even first thing in the morning, people go out and stand by the pool at 6 am waiting for a spot by the pool even before the chairs have been put out. Then they go back to bed until 11am or later and come back for the 4 chairs they put a towel or sand toy on to reserve. You’re better off getting a chair on the beach. The ocean isn’t really swimmable - dangerous with a black flag all the time. The beach is so beautiful and wonderful to walk daily. The grounds and rooms are dated but clean and well maintained, no plug ins by the bed. One by the desk and one by the sink. The staff was one of the best parts of the hotel. One waiter was helping my husband learn Spanish and he was wonderful to see daily. The omelet lady was a sweetheart. Because the hotel isn’t set up for Canadians , they 100% cater to what Mexican’s like of course! What does that mean you ask? -the minimal entertainment and pool activities we only in Spanish. -the food was mostly what locals like of course, deep fried tortillas for breakfast/ beans and chicken , very repetitive food .No bacon ( except in the omelet) no sausage, Mangos , salsa/picante or guacamole. Lobby smells like sewer close to the washroom. TV turns itself off about every five minutes. Wheelchair accessible. The wristbands have your key on them, which is really nice. Ok wifi Watery beer. No fridge in room A/C only goes to 24c not colder. The shower water will be burning hot then freezing. I wouldn’t go back to be honest mostly because of the repetitive and bland food.

“Worst food of any resort”

Service and atmosphere was great. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, the food was not.. Absolutely the worst food I’ve had at an all inclusive resort,, much like the sister resort in Cozumel. We will not be going back to either of them again
