Let me start by mentioning how valuable I felt the moment I walked in on this premise. As Marriott Bonvoy member, I felt I was treated with the value I deserved after traveling around the world and choosing any hotel by Marriott that keeps the same standards in service experience and quality for money expended. This a GEM 💎 located between huge shopping malls and in front of the Puerto Magico, basically the PIER where 99% of the boat tours happen. Just across the street. I was lucky to get there one week before Easter week, which is quite busy in PV. I was greeted and welcomed by Guadalupe, and she appreciated my loyalty as a Bonvoy member. I checked the property, and a really cute pool area and cocoons chairs were available to chill. Happy hours for drinks 🍸 🤪 and popcorn free of charge in the evening 😋. 🎉 The next day, I went down to enjoy the complimentary breakfast and, as always, fresh juices and fresh cut fruit plus fresh croissant and more. I was lucky to find out a request was honored to me by Fatima, who runs the front office supervision. She was extremely professional and kind, and she told me she was hoping the view would be to my satisfaction. Little did I know my view was AWESOME and AMAZING every single day (check the pics). I can see every single cruise ship coming and going from Puerto Vallarta just in front of my room. I had only two nights booked at this property, but the amazing service made me book 4 more nights, and believe me, I was as pleased as the start of my dream vacations. I was greeted every morning by the staff, and if I needed anything, there was always someone with a great smile to take care of me and my colleague. I want to mention Sabina on reception who helped me with bookings and local recommendations. Starbucks is at the lobby and La Chula restaurant, which is part of the hotel. We enjoyed some fajitas and drinks, and the service was as amazing as the food. Luckily, I ran into the general manager who was giving a hand to his staff on a busy morning during Easter week, and I applaud his teamwork and excellent service experience. He brought me coffee to my table and took care of me and some other friends the night prior. I can tell he is running that place, always thinking about customer satisfaction at all times. What else could I say to my fellow travelers who read my reviews about this property? Just do not hesitate to take advantage of a great location and welcoming team in Puerto Vallarta 😀. I arrived just at the check-in time which was great timing. A room was ready, the check-in staff very polite and I checked in right away. From there a little hop over to Walmart for some food for the evening then a stroll to the beach area. Many times I have been to PV and this was just a one-nighter before my other accommodations were ready. The walk to the beach area was not bad and quite doable. Despite the numerous visits here I have not spent an overnight in this area before. Wanting a microwave and min-fridge I booked a superior room and got the top floor, middle room looking out over the marina. It was also a wonderful spot for watching the sunset and the cruise ship arriving the next day. Breakfast was plenty for what I needed. Yogurt and fruit with coffee and I was all set. Everything was clean, both the property and the room. And despite it being next to a busy street, the windows did a great job of keeping noise out. I had no complaints at all and loved the fact that the standard check-out time was at 1pm. That allowed me to wait comfortably in the lobby the next day until my next accommodation was ready. I relaxed there until I got the text to come over, ordered an Uber and was off. Wifi worked great and by the time I got back to Canada everything was legit with my credit card; the proper payment and the hold was released by then. I would definitely use this hotel as a overnighter again.
