This is a well managed contemporary hotel in Puerto Vallarta's hotel zone, about midway between the airport and the romantic zone. Check-in was quick, even though there was a line ahead of us, because a helper did some preliminary work while we waited.I was given a small beer while waiting. Oddly, no one offered the all-inclusive option (we only learned of this later, after talking to another tourist at the pool). We probably would not have chosen it anyway, however, as we wanted to try restaurants in the city. Our room was on the "partial bay view" side. I advise choosing the "bay view" option, not so much for the view as to avoid the noise from a nearby amusement park. It shut down at 11, and didn't bother us much, but others might be less tolerant. Our first room was fine except that the AC was not functioning properly. The technician came and tried to repair it. He seemed to be successful but the manager nevertheless suggested we move to a different room. No issues there and I commend the manager for her consideration. The rooftop pool was perfect temperature, usually with many empty seats, (except on the Mexican holiday weekend). The views were amazing, with plenty of sunshine or shade, as desired. The washrooms were well taken care of, open to the city on one side. Towels were plentiful. The rooftop bar and restaurant were okay. There weren't many options for us, as we do not eat meat, but the guacamole was decent. I thought the beer was a little high priced--it seemed to increase halfway through our 6 night stay--compared to other places at which we ate. Rooms were cleaned well daily. The gym was inadequate for my needs but there were plenty of cardio machines. I couldn't do a full strength workout, but I didn't really care too much as I was on holiday. I didn't like wearing the wristband, but I understand that it was for security. Note: there is a small shopping centre closely and an inexpensive "food park" across the road (beside the amusement park). We would easily stay there again.

Front desk staff Amanda and Alan were patient and welcoming. spotless room, nice pool staff. Mariella was very attentive to all our needs. Will stay here again.

Stayed here for a few nights. The pool upstairs was up so beautiful. We had panoramic view from our room. The staff was excellent. But the food was some power. Stayed here for a few nights. The pool upstairs was up so beautiful. We had panoramic view from our room. The staff was excellent. But the food was some power. The nacho sad liquid cheese on it, which was disgusting. Chicken wings were OK but few. Had a burnt burrito which was returned. Breakfast was not worth pre-paying. But the staff would be great.
