“Awesome Independent Hotel”
It's hard to find an independent hotel in this part of Cancun, and Mayan Monkey was a real treat. If you don't want the big-resort all inclusive experience but want to be close to the beach and the night life, this is the hotel to stay at.

“Superb Hostel!”
Gorgeous hostel in a great location. Feels like a boutique hotel for backpackers. My room did have a mildew smell - opening the windows and cranking the AC for a bit worked. It was a surprise that USD is needed to check in though it's in the print in the booking confirmation (who reads that?!). C… more

“Great hostel”
Anay, jenifer and Michelle on the reception are great. Very friendly. The hostel is beautiful . Especially the pool and the view. Breakfast was also good thank you!
