I have absolutely nothing but lovely things to say about our stay at Casa de los Sueños! We were in the Amor room for 6 nights and it was perfect. I wanted a place that was on the quieter, south end of the island, but was still walkable to different restaurants and sights. We couldn't have found a better spot. There are a good number of restaurants around in walking distance and we even walked to Punta Sur (about 20 minutes walk) and into La Gloria (about 25-35 minutes walk) on different days. The room was very comfortable for two and the bed was comfortable as well. They offer daily room service, but we only had them clean the room once as we didn't find we needed it that frequently. Each of the staff members at the front desk were incredibly kind and available if we needed anything. The air conditioning in the room worked wonderfully and the water pressure was great in the shower. You could hear music in the room from Kin Ha and Ulan, but with both places closing at 9/10pm it never interfered with our sleep and we actually loved being able to hear it without leaving the room. We loved each breakfast we had at Kin Ha which was included with the reservation and we would come to be by the pool each day around 3 or 4pm to relax before getting ready for dinner. We were often the only two at the pool despite there being a number of other guests staying as well which was lovely. We are already planning our 2027/2028 trips back to Isla Mujeres and will absolutely be staying in Casa de los Sueños! A random fact, but nice for all the book lovers: I brought two books with me with the intention of leaving them behind if I could find a little free library spot and was delightfully surprised to see they had shelves and shelves of books for you to pick from in the lobby to read while on your trip! I read both of mine and two of the ones other guests had left behind as well.

Solo traveler, stayed eight nights in Serenity Suite. It's the perfect place for a digital nomad. - The island is easy to get to. 30-minute ride from CUN. 30-minute ferry to island. 10-minute cab ride to hotel - Carlos and Roberto were very helpful - Beautiful room with a deck that was probably 500 square feet - Natural light, fresh air - Incredible view: trees, ocean - Birdlife. Lots of pigeons, doves - Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards onsite. Nice walking in the area. Swimming directly from the shore - Fun, casual outdoor dining. Great service. Nice views. People-watching - Breakfast, served outside, included in rate - Multiple restaurants, pharmacies, mini-groceries within walking distance - Safe, relaxed - Wonderful bright colors and thoughtful decor. Mexican art in the room. Flowers on the deck - Safe, mini-fridge, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer included. Walk-in closet - They'll do a load of laundry for $10 - It's QUIET at night. Live bands during the day aren't that good, but they're nice to listen to. They play the old classics - Strong WiFi - Multiple pools. Activities for children. Everyone having fun here - Reasonable room rate - Nina, the sweet dog!

“Gem on the South Side of Isla”

This is such a cute boutique hotel with so much to offer on the south end of Isla Mujeres. The staff are very hospitable (shout out to Carlos, Roberto and Jessica!) , the views are breathtaking and the location is fabulous. This is such a cute boutique hotel with so much to offer on the south end of Isla Mujeres. The staff are very hospitable (shout out to Carlos, Roberto and Jessica!) , the views are breathtaking and the location is fabulous. This was our second visit and it was just as memorable as our first visit. The daily breakfast at Kin Ha (included in room rate) was tasty and hearty. The rooms are also very comfortable. Highly recommend!

“A wonderful spot!”

So much to love about this hotel and a few things that could be upgraded. We had a wonderful one-week stay. So much to love about this hotel and a few things that could be upgraded. We had a wonderful one-week stay. The entry is beautiful - opens up to the infinity pool with a view of the turquoise sea below. We finished almost every day at the pool - it was calm and peaceful and can only be used by hotel guests. The location is fantastic too - there is Ulan across the street and multiple restaurants within walking (or golf cart) distance going either way. It's quiet - which is a nice difference from the north. It's steps away from the Garrefon beach club for fantastic snorkeling. And the people are kind and helpful. Carlos, the concierge, answered our every question. Loved being able to use the kayaks and paddleboards and the beach area in front of the beach club is fantastic for swimming, playing volleyball, and even snorkeling at the pier. Breakfast was included, which is a great perk. After a week, however, it got a bit tiring to have the same thing over and over. As for the things that could be improved - the bathroom - both in our room and at the beach club. Very outdated. I don't mind an outdated bedroom, but the bathrooms definitely could use some work. We spent at least a portion of every day at the beach club. Highly recommend getting there early and reserving your spot because people come from other spots for the day. The beach chairs, towels, and seating area could use a refresh. Everything was comfortable, just not as updated as they could be. The drinks and food were hit or miss - sometimes really well done, other times mediocre. Service, however, was always great. Super friendly staff. Please remember to tip your servers!! They work non-stop! Overall, we loved our stay. Would highly recommend the island and Casa. Hoping they will make some updates over time, particularly to the bathroom.
