Having just returned home with my wife following a weeks total relaxation at The Dunes D'or Ocean Club in Agadir Morocco, we must share the main parts of our experience. First of all, nothing is perfect and there will always be things that can be done better, that being so then this hotel and the staff from our reception through all facets of our stay worked together to ensure we, as customers, were treated with respect, with humor and kindness in 'bucketfulls'. Yes there were areas which would benefit from improvement ie the room we were allocated was a little 'tired' but it was spotlessly clean and was attended to each day which included clean towels and bedlinen if required and all the corridors in the accommodation areas were given the same attention. All the public areas including the pool, the dining rooms, lounges and bars were given the same attention by staff who went about their various tasks in a positive happy manner. Probably one of the main things that makes a holiday something that you want to remember for all the right reasons is the food and the service of it. No problems on that score. The variety, the content and the presentation all made for a pleasing experience as did the mundane task of the clearing, cleaning and resetting of tables by staff whose names I wanted to remember but found difficult due to the volume of staff employed. We have to address our comments subject to our somewhat senior age but also made note of the manner by which young families were treated and once again could not find fault. Both my wife and myself are of the same opinion of the fact that the staff, the location of the hotel and the all round service to which we were treated means we will return for more of the same. We have stayed in a few hotels in Agadir, this hotel is the best we've stayed in! Easy checking in- Just had to fill out some extra details but didnt take us long. Got shown to our ground floor, sea view room what was perfect. No issues at all. Pools were decent, only went to the main one and the aqua slides but was very good! Food there was something for everyone, fresh eggs, omelette, pancakes, morrocan doughnuts to order. Lots of other options, cereals, fruits, ham, cheeses, breads and more... Decent coffee machines, lots of fruit juices. Only issues (nothing major!) When wanting a spoon for cereal was hard to get one, staff taken while and if you supply tea and coffee in the room it be nice to aslo have milk! (We didnt use it but just some feedback!) Staff was very welcoming all the time. Animation team were good- they did plenty of activities such as aqua gym, zumba, darts and more. Gym was small and did get busy, only did about 30min but was great to see it all well kept after and great equipment! We will be booking here again - Possibly End of year if not definitely be next may/june. Thank you!

Stayed here for a week all inclusive and had a really lovely holiday. We arrived around 10pm and check in was quick and easy, taking around 10 minutes. We were shown to our room by a porter which was a nice touch. The room itself was nice and clean, slightly dated in places but cleaned daily with fresh towels every day. The bathroom was lovely with a huge walk-in shower. Only small downside was there were no plug sockets near the mirror which made doing hair a bit difficult, although there is a hairdryer in the bathroom. The pool area was great and we never had any issues getting sunbeds at any time of day. Food in the buffet restaurant was good with plenty of choice. We also booked the Italian restaurant - worth noting this is a set menu with 3 choices for starter, main and dessert, so don’t expect pizza and pasta like a traditional Italian. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is around a 20-30 minute walk to the main area of Agadir where there are mostly bars and restaurants. Not many shops, although McDonald’s, KFC and Pizza Hut are all next to each other nearby. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the hill via the cable car where my now fiancé proposed at the top, making this holiday even more special for us 💍 One thing I had seen mentioned in previous reviews was that all inclusive bands were cut off at check out, however this didn’t happen to us. We were picked up at 6pm for the airport and were still able to use the all inclusive for breakfast and lunch on our final day which was really appreciated. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday in Agadir.

Location is perfect with sea views in some rooms next to a long lovely prom. The entertainment team work very hard to please multiple nationalities with poolside entertainment, evening quizzes etc. Not much in the way of visiting entertainment that we saw? The rooms could do with added extras like hooks, loo roll holders etc (and loo rolls are very small here!) but are clean and functional with good safes and a fridge Food has significantly improved since a visit last year with loads of fresh options such as grilled tuna, steak, prawns as well as the basics. Find the right room to eat in and the waiters will look after you. They now have a better gluten free awareness and options. They even gave me a loaf of bread It’s worth booking the room upgrade if through jet2 if it’s just for the Buddha bar experience which is great. A new extra privileged area has been created which looks completely pointless as no one has used it the entire week! It’s not advertised and is obviously too expensive for those that find it! Really comfortable seats that no one sits on!!
