Nice hotel rooms are big with a comfy bed and plenty of storage for you stuff. The staff were all nice in both pool bar and inside bar. Cleaners were friendly and did a great job. Everyone welcomes you and said hello etc. The only downside which is why this is not a 5 star review was the guy on reception when we checked out. Whilst there we paid in cash for everything so when he presented me with an outstanding bar bill of 70 dirhams this was clearly an error. I pointed this out to him and he argued with me. Then he started talking to a French customer ignoring me so I walked of then he called me back said I had to pay. Ok it was only small but I know we charged nothing to the room so refused to pay. This really left me fuming as we left after such a perfect holiday. Needless to say he was unable to provide a breakdown or a signed receipt. He did not apologise.

“Great value for money”

I thought it was excellent value for money. Loved the pool and pool bar. Staff were friendly, except at Reception. They let the hotel down, especially as they are your first point of contact. I thought it was excellent value for money. Loved the pool and pool bar. Staff were friendly, except at Reception. They let the hotel down, especially as they are your first point of contact. I had one of the “noisy” rooms at the back. It didn’t bother me, Infact I quite liked the hustle and bustle going on. It wasn’t constant. The food was fine. A few strange options but good value.

Start with the only negatives. I would have given this 5 stars but for the noise. Arrived on a saturday evening, Going to sleep consisted of constant noise which kept me awake until 5am. I even went down to reception before 5 am to see if we could have a room at the back of the hotel but there was no one there. Pressing the car horn seems to be a national sport, and all night there were constant single of group car horns, a roller shutter noisily closed (presumably) at 0430, single or a large groups of dogs which sounded like they were mauling something ( later in week appeared possibly an adult dog with half a dozen small dogs), plus people shouting.Every othernight was noisy but to a lesser extent. Other than that it took two days of asking to get the air conditioning to work (took the man 15 secs to do ) and get the TV to work for three of the English channels promised. The positives -everything else. The unheated pool was great with lovely gardens. The staff were perfect. Communal areas were very clean. Could buy a plain freshly made pizza by the pool for the equivalent of £3 . The location was a 10 min walk down to the lovely sea front.There are no entertainments and the pool shuts at 7pm,so the actual hotel is calm at night. Agadir is a lovely clean city and safe environment. Being a Muslim predominantly non drinking country there is no stupid behaviour. Some individuals come and try and sell you rubbish, but a firm and polite no thank you sends them on their way (and there are police everywhere). Would come back to Agadir again, and consider staying here but only in a room overlooking the pool .
