“Good Value, Great Breakfast but Sketchy Service!”

Previously stayed at the Crowne Plaza when overnighting before or after a flight and decided to try this hotel. It’s a nice facility with a large pool area, nice garden, gym and paddle courts. Breakfast (free) was amazing with a huge choice of pretty much everything you can think of in a buffet format. The menu of the day for lunch was also very good but dinner was awful. I waited over an hour to get my food which was overcooked and not tasty at all. Big difference between lunch and dinner. Service was hit and miss depending on who I dealt with. My AC was not getting cold in my room and the maintenance man gave me a bull story about it being hot outside and that it would get cool after the sun goes down. Do me a favor…. I complained to the front desk twice about it and just got the run around. They told me to wait to see if it gets cold as they did not have a room to move me to. I knew this was bunk as it’s a large hotel and there were not many people around on a Monday night. At 7pm I went to reception and asked to see a manager. Chris Mezua explained that the manager was not in but that he could help me. He checked his computer and sent another person up to try and see if he could get the AC cool. He immediately confirmed that it was not working so Chris told me to go and pack my things to move to another room that he first wanted to check to make sure the AC worked. I moved down the hall on the same upper floor to a much nicer room and the AC worked great. This room had a comfortable King bed verses two small double beds and the bathroom was nicer too. Chris really went out of f his way to assist me and because of his help I will return to this hotel again. The free shuttle runs every hour and I had to wait over an hour at the airport after calling several times. As a result and not wanting to fight the crowds all trying to get a free ride back to the airport in the morning, I ordered an Uber who arrived in less than 2 min and the cost before the tip was $6.82 which was totally worth it. Overall some strong points combined with some weak points but worth trying again given the minimal choices near the airport.

This place looks so good when you walk in, but check in is very late and early check in will cost you more money. The restaurant has a very limited and expensive menu. They say there's an ATM on site, but you need to walk down the hwy with no sidewalk to access it inside the casino. The hot tub was freezing, which was disappointing. (I have severe jellyfish stings I'm trying to treat if that sounds weird) EaThe staff are very kind and friendly.

I wouldn’t categorize this as a 4-star hotel, though the suites might be a different story. We stayed in a standard room, and it felt more like a motel than a hotel. The restaurant is friendly, but the food is only mediocre at best. The pool area is nice, though, and a real highlight. The shuttle bus to the airport leaves every hour, but it’s quite unreliable when it comes to timing. We were told it would arrive at 8:00 PM, but it showed up at 8:25. That can be a real issue if you’re on a tight schedule.
