Our stay at Gold by Marina has been spectacular. From the moment we arrived the experience was exceptional. We received a warm welcome, and the offer of a chilled glass of cava during check-in created an excellent first impression. The reception team set the tone for a wonderful stay with their warm and attentive hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, and every member of staff was welcoming, friendly, and highly professional. Their level of service was truly first-class. Gold by Marina is ideally located in the resort, only a short stroll from the beach and is surrounded by an excellent selection of shops, bars, and restaurants. Our room was stunning, generously sized, thoughtfully designed, with modern stylish colours. A thoughtful welcome gift of a bottle of red wine and sweets was waiting in our room, making us feel warmly invited from the outset. The room had lovely fresh scent on arrival and was spotlessly clean throughout. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable, complemented by plenty of plump pillows and high-quality, soft bedding. The air conditioning was efficient and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Excellent in-room amenities, including dressing gowns, slippers, nice refillable toiletries and a pod coffee machine, added a touch of luxury and made our stay exceptionally comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the large smart TV with international channels, while the fully equipped kitchenette provided added convenience. A sunny balcony with views stretching out towards the sea and the dunes. The hotel has a chic, modern design with a fresh and vibrant feel, while maintaining a sociable yet laid-back atmosphere. A highlight for us was relaxing by the pool on the comfortable sun loungers, there was never any difficulty finding a sun-bed with plenty of space to unwind and soak up the sunshine. During our stay, live music sessions around the pool added to the ambience and enhanced the overall experience. The breakfast was amazing a must to add to your booking, especially appreciated that it is served from morning until noon allowing a leisurely and unhurried start to the day. The buffet was fantastic, everything was beautifully presented, fresh, high quality with a great selection something to suit everyone. The freshly squeezed orange juice machine was a wonderful addition, offering a refreshing and energising vitamin C hit each morning. Delicious warm breads, tasty made-to-order omelettes, superb coffee and the cava at breakfast made it feel extra special. Another highlight was the “Bubbles with the Team” evening on a Monday, which was a delightful experience. It was wonderful to relax, chat with both staff and fellow guests, and enjoy such a laid-back setting. You could genuinely sense how much the team care about creating a personal and memorable stay for everyone. What truly made this stay unforgettable, was the staff, every single team member was warm, professional and genuinely welcoming in every department. We absolutely loved our stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. We were warmly welcomed by Christian at the front desk, who checked us in effortlessly and shared all the useful information and thoughtful recommendations we needed for our stay. Following check-in, we were welcomed with a delicious glass of sparkling wine, a lovely gesture that set the tone beautifully. We must have been given one of the finest rooms in the hotel, on the 9th floor, with wonderful views over the pools and the dunes in the distance. We truly adored our room. The hotel also provided a complimentary bottle of red wine, which we enjoyed on our balcony while taking in the views and savouring the moment. A generously sized bottle of water was also waiting for us in the fridge, perfectly chilled. And the bed—without exaggeration, one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in at a hotel. No lumpy mattress in sight, which made all the difference. Everything in our room was immaculate and exceptionally well maintained. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in preserving the hotel’s pristine condition. Please keep up the excellent work, as this level of care is exactly what draws guests in and encourages them to return. Breakfast was served from 8 to 12, and it was a genuine highlight of our stay. The hotel offers one of the most impressive breakfast spreads I have experienced at a European hotel. Guests are truly spoilt for choice, with freshly squeezed orange juice, Lavazza coffee machines using fresh beans, bubbly for those who wish to indulge, and even caviar. A truly exceptional spread. The location was superb—just moments from the beach, with a supermarket next door, a lovely selection of restaurants within easy walking distance, and the added convenience of hotel parking, which is a real plus. What made the stay even more memorable was the hotel’s intimate setting, which added a wonderful sense of charm and exclusivity—we would return in a heartbeat.
