The Good: This is an attractive complex of holiday apartments built in a quiet spot close to the Marina at Albufeira. It is a great location, the Marina with its collection of good quality restaurants, touristy shops, a supermarket and various attractions is less than five minutes walk away. The apartment complex and gardens are well looked after and everywhere is spotlessly clean. There is a large circular pool, which works well for children and adults alike and is large enough to accommodate both. The apartments are quite basic, but have all that you will need on holiday an, again, are spotlessly clean. The main part of Albufeira – the beach, the old town and the party area – is only a 20 minute, attractive sea-view walk away. The Bad: Generally there is nothing bad to say about the place and it offers value for money, but some minor quibbles. At the pool, while there are plenty of sun-loungers over half of them are broken or damaged in some way so can present a hazard – especially to small children. There are rules for the pool – no inflatables, no towels to reserve loungers etc – but they are not enforced at all. The apartment could do with more detailed instructions – I never managed to get the TV or satellite working (but I wasn’t on holiday to watch television!), and the pillows for the beds were truly terrible!

We have stayed in these apartments several times over the past 10 years. They are very spacious, and well laid out with multiple bathrooms and balconies. The kitchens are well equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. The cleaners come around every 2 or 3 days. The pool area is huge, with ample sun loungers. There is a small coffee shop/bar area at the pool which serves snacks, sandwiches, pizzas etc. There is a small shop just outside the back gate, and a Spar down at the Marina. The Marina area is quiet and family friendly, and has a great selection of restaurants and bars so there's something to suit everyone's tastes. It's a beautiful 15-20 minute walk along the coast to the old town or you can get the little tourist train, or an Uber is only €4 approx.

We enjoyed our stay here, we were in an apartment with a hot tub and pool table in a large apartment which was great. Location here is fantastic, it is 5 minutes to the marina or you can walk (30 mins) or get the tourist train or tuk tuk into old town. The pool is a bit tired but it is huge and we still made good use of it, the pool bar is really handy too. There are some mixed reviews on here but I think that depends on which apartment you stay in as I think most as run independently as holiday homes but the overall complex is good. It is gated, quiet of an evening and walking distance to two mini markets.
