Really impressed! The standard, cleanliness, facilities and staff, all fantastic. The apartments are large, spacious and cosy. Home from home feel. Cleaned daily, air con and everything you need and more for a self catering or B&B holiday. Breakfast is available at an extra charge downstairs (buffet) and lunch available. Handy if you don’t want to leave. Pool bar is ideal. Kids facilities are actually really good for the small ones. Pool slide into a lovely small shallow baby pool, then to your right a large playroom! Not supervised. Pool is very clean and all the areas and gardens. Playground too! Not too long a journey to the town. Tuktuk to old town is €10. Taxi €8/€10. Walk down and taxi home. Free parking and secured with big gates, the complex itself. Value for money these are excellent and we will definitely return! Thank you!

Just back from a 14 night stay. Would definitely return. PLUS POINTS • Check-In is 15:00 but got my room at 11:30 as it was ready • Very Clean • Helpful Staff • Huge Rooms • Massive Double Bed • Daily Room Cleaning • Close to Strip (10 minute walk) • Big Pool • Plenty Sun Loungers and Umbrellas • Outside Gym • Grounds well kept • Beds very comfy (I read a few reviews that the beds weren’t comfortable but that wasn’t the case for me, everyone has different needs, so that’s how reviews differ Negative Points (Only One) • Poolbar was quite expensive (€14 for 2 pints of Kopperberg which was on draft, the glass was also filled to the top with ice and when I took the ice out there was just about a half pint of Cider in it, so in fact €7 for a half pint) This was our first time in Albufeira and this hotel made it a very enjoyable stay. We only ate at the hotel twice, not because anything was wrong with the food, we had pizzas and toasties which were nice but we prefer eating out. Across the road from the hotel is Kiss nightclub, again we read about this in the reviews but we decided we’re on holiday and there will be music throughout the night. It is only open on a Friday and Saturday night at the moment so 2 nights would be okay. However the soundproofing in the room is amazing and once the balcony door is closed you can’t hear anything outside, also when I’ve had a few beers I would sleep through almost anything, especially while in that huge comfy bed. The AirCon in the room is also quiet and has no smell coming from it, like most I’ve come across. Places to eat nearby, turn right when you leave the hotel and walk for 2 minutes on the same side, you will come to Frankies, amazing English breakfasts for €5/6 Very cheap drink, large TVs showing all sports and also a swimming pool and sun loungers out the back. Leave the hotel and turn left, walk for about 5 minutes and on the same side you will come to Kingyo, a new Chinese/Sushi restaurant. They have set menus or a buffet. The buffet it well worth the money as you can stay till closing time and continue to eat. The food is ordered by ipad and is brought to your table piping hot. At Kingyo turn right and walk for another 5 minutes and you’ll be at the strip, a bit like any other strip, full of bars and restaurants with hundreds of PRs outside trying to drag you into their bar which is obviously the best in Albufeira. The only one we went to was Freddis which was pleasant with nice food

“Great apartments”

Excellent big apartments ,very clean and well equipped,good location ,nice sun bathing area and friendly staff,nice big beds and huge balcony, supermarkets near by but worth a walk to inter marche as half the price ,nice to see groups of young ones going for long weekends and having fun

We have just spent 5 lovely days at the Areias Village. The apartment was spotless, cleaned every day, spacious and had everything we needed for our short stay with our party of 4. The pool area was great, spotless again with good quality loungers. Pool water was cold although that was expected and the shaded cabana and grassed areas had the space for the kids to play and relax. The pool was a great size, 1.3m at the deepest part. There was no rush for loungers, plenty to go round and inflatables were allowed. We didn’t use the facilities for food but the range of drinks and snacks available looked great. Areas to improve would be strengthening the WIFI around the site as this was limited in some areas and maybe an oven in the apartments to help with cooking variety for those wishing to use the facilities more. These are very minor points though. The apartments are in close proximity to both the strip and old town. The strip didn’t suit our needs although the old town better and a short 15 minute walk away. In terms of supermarkets there is one opposite the hotel for convenience but with Aldi a 15 minute walk away, with better value and choice we would suggest taking the short walk. There is a nightclub opposite the hotel (Kiss) although at this time of year only open Friday to Sunday. (Open Midnight to 6am) We did experience some noise but nothing to spoil our nights sleep. We had room 110 which was at the side of the hotel block, not overlooking the pool but did have double aspect windows and balcony and had sun into the early evening whereas those with pool view lost the sun part of the way through the day, benefiting more from morning sun. Would recommend room 110 and those rooms above on the side. Due to complex being small, it felt really homely, friendly and relaxed. The staff were very helpful when we needed support and overall we had a really pleasant stay. Not sure if we would return in the summer due to the location but outwith very likely.
