The room was big with 2 huge cabinets, more then enough to store our clothes, shoes and suitcases A very sweet welcoming, handwritten note, biscuits, little bottle of liqueur, water bottle and earplugs in the drawer in our bedside tables The extra towels in a basket was so nice to have, to take to the pool and to the beach Fresh fruits in the shared dining room and a great view from the pool area A charming traditional Guesthouse, very clean and had a good atmosphere and we loved the real keys to the main door and our room Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels even tough we slept in each day until noon for 10 days! We slept like babies every night and didn´t have to use the earplugs The manager Andreia was super nice, friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, only few steps to the beach and restaurants in all direction We were two tired housewives in the sixtys who turned home relaxed and happy We loved our stay to the fullest and we will definitely come again

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is great — everything is easily accessible from the property, though it’s worth noting that the area is quite steep, so something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility concerns. We were in the room facing the road and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, especially compared to what some other reviewers had mentioned. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent throughout. The space had all the essentials, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for a great stay!

I recently stayed at the Bertonlina guest house with a group of friends. We had the three bedroom apartment, which is located across the small street where the main property is, plus a room in the guest house itself. The apartment was actually more like a town house with the accommodation spread over 3 storeys including an open plan lounge / diner / kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor and a further bathroom and a small lounge / bedroom with a sofa bed and another bathroom on the top floor which then led to a large terrace and a spacious roof terrace on the top. There were wonderful views to the Old Town and the sea from here - a real bonus! The apartment was really clean and well equipped, with all the kitchen utensils you’d need along with a coffee maker. It was beautifully decorated and presented throughout. From the location, it was on a couple of minutes walk into town and to the beach. Albufeira is a lively place which has nightlife going until the early hours however, from the apartment, you could hear little noise. There is a lovely swimming pool area behind the main guest house, which you can access from the apartment, from where you had great views to the Old Town Square. The manager was very responsive to messages and was really helpful and friendly. She also allowed me to store my bag for the day after check-out. I would highly recommend the apartment (I did not visit the room we had in the hotel but I believe this was again spacious and well-presented but suffered a little more from the noise from the nightlife - this cannot be helped, however, due to the central location). I would love to stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay

“Party noise till 4.30am, Give it a miss.”

In the centre of the Old Town, Extremely, Extremely a party goers dream, but not if you go to bed at normal times. Very loud music and party goers till 4.30AM, every day/night. So if you want a quiet nights sleep, "you're not gonna get it"Great location for party goers. Guest house clean. The guesthouse had a very bad leak outside the front door, which has evidently been left for months due to the moss growing on the wall. It is dangerous to step into the quest house due to being slippery or stepping out trying to dodge the leak in front of passing cars. Room NOT cleaned every day. Only cold breakfast, toast, cold meats, fruit. ONLY two capsules of coffee ALLOWED per DAY, and you have to buy more if you want a 2nd cup of coffee. There is low pressure in the shower, but adequate. When the cleaner did empty the bins, they ALWAYS turned off the air conditioning. The towels weren't changed/refreshed after our full week. The Pool was nice.
