Booked for 20 nights with Jet2, Emailed the property 10 days prior to departure to request a room on a high floor with a sea view & balcony which receives the sun (Not much i know) received a response almost immediately acknowledging but not promising. Arrived late afternoon in the torrential rain, Reception was super friendly, efficient & gave us a rundown of the hotel features & information re opening & closing hours of the bars, Restaurant & the indoor swimming pool. Two electronic key cards for room 304 & concise instructions in how to get to the correct block. The request emailed was more than fulfilled & exceeded our expectations. The one bed apartment was huge with a large balcony leading from the sitting room and a Juliette balcony in the bedroom. Two large & very comfortable single beds. The apartment was cleaned daily to a high standard & it is the first time on our travels we have seen the cleaning team use a hoover before mopping the tiled floors. Towels nice & fluffy & changed almost daily. All pool areas were also cleaned to a high standard & always Sunbeds available even with the occasional early morning sun bed hoggers. We were self catering but on occasion we paid for the buffet breakfast in the wonderful Monte Verde Restaurant for 14.50 Euros each. It is a 5 minute walk to the 100 steps which takes you to the centre of the square in the old town. A fa O

“What an absolute bargain !”

This Hotel is sooo much more than we expected from the Jet2 site . Obviously we are out of season and got so lucky with the weather. Even so the 1 bed apartment we were allocated was on the 3rd floor but on the flat ! We just walked across the rd from the hotel through two sets of gates and we had a detached apartment!! It was huge !! You could have a party on the balcony overlooking the sea It had a fully equipped kitchen Bedroom and a lounge that had a pull out bed and the sofa was a single. N I all fairness there was only two of us so it might not be all that comfortable on the sofa but the pull out has a great mattress! The pools were lovely the spa and indoor pool was fab and the treatments very reasonable and of a professional but friendly standard. The amenities were of a great standard and everywhere was absolutely spotless. The access to the old town is only a few yards down the road . My mobility is far from great but with a bit of will power I managed the steps down and back when needed . There is a shuttle but we didnt use it We paid a grand total of £759 pounds for two transfers plane and accommodation. 8 nights .whats not to like for a lucky break in very good 4 star hotel!!

“Excellent apartments”

Just back from four nights here. Great apartments, good sized and well equipped, even if a touch dated. Our block had its own pool, but we tended to use the bigger pool in main hotel. Just back from four nights here. Great apartments, good sized and well equipped, even if a touch dated. Our block had its own pool, but we tended to use the bigger pool in main hotel. Indoor pool in spa also a good - and warmer - option. Also has gym but equipment wasn't great. Mini-market next to apartments for essentials. Location is excellent, fantastic ocean view and only five mins downhill to bustle of old town, loads of great places to eat. But be aware the stairs are steep!

“Good Experience”

Went as a group of 4 and stayed in Cerro Mar Colina at the top of the hill. Had to pay a €500 deposit upon arrival but it was refunded after the trip. Went as a group of 4 and stayed in Cerro Mar Colina at the top of the hill. Had to pay a €500 deposit upon arrival but it was refunded after the trip. The apartment was clean and a decent size however only complaint would be that it was infested with ants. When we rang reception they sprayed the room which did help but the ants persisted all week. Only one air con unit worked which was a slight inconvenience. There are no elevators in Colina so lugging suitcases up the hill and 3 flights of stairs was a nuisance. There are 2 pools which are nice but sun loungers are limited so we went to the beach most days. To get to the old town you have to go down a massive hill and about 300 stairs which would always kill us on the way back up lol. It’s about a 5-10 minute uber from the new town strip.
