Beautiful beach etc Lovely area. Hotel is overcrowded ,too many guests leading to long queues for every meal .Lift system is inadequate and very slow allow extra time to get your cases down on departure. Staff are friendly and most of hotel is clean except for stair cases up to rooms which were dirty for 6 days and cleaned on the 7th . Food is not the best ,a bit hit and miss .Nothing is cooked in front of you .Omelettes come out ready cooked and cut into chunks ,soups are tasteless.Children serve themselves so lookout for little fingers putting food back and touching everything . Once again queues at each food station ,if you take food from one area snd want something from another you often have to queue snd food goes cold . If you are a couple you are seated on the smallest table i ve ever seen ,no room for side plates etc . I can’t say any of my meals were ‘special’ it all seemed basic but edible. Snacks are poor snd basic too appeared to be served in the Coral bar but were not under chilled conditions .Outdoor pool snack truck Didnt open at all . Only one of the Special restaurants was open. Drinks are good and recognisable brands but again queuing times at the bar are long and frustrating .They did have a popcorn machine in the bar one night which would have been lovely but after queuing for 20mins we were told he had finished , pop corn still in machine and bar open for another couple of hours? If you book a room make sure you have a balcony , a Venetian balcony is not big enough to dry a swimsuit . The rooms are clean and tidy but need renovating .Storage is an open wardrobe with no drawers .There isn’t a chair in the room either.The bathroom is clean but basic ,again nowhere to store anything apart from around the sink ….a portable wooden ladder appeared towards the end of the week to store the towels . Remember to take everything with you as the complimentary toiletries consist of 1 shower cap between you and a shoe shine sponge ,which seems a bit random. The indoor pool is in the bowells of the hotel ,it is both dark and lacks luxury . This list sounds extensive but it is classed as a 5 star hotel , it definitely isn’t. Good luck to the staff who work hard but lack organisation. We won’t be back
