Having visited this place a few times and fell in love with it,I've sold this to both fiends and family alike. So decided to book again for this year and thought wow all the apartments have been sold out? Further research indeed proved the opposite and that these are still available via their own website but at highly inflated prices? On a quick search £1800 a week,without flights etc, for a week?? We have never paid anywhere near this amount for two people with flights ,transfers, baggage and even car hire included? Why such a hike in prices?? Whilst I appreciate these have been upgraded it appears the costs are being recouped in a short a time as possible with such price hikes. I cannot fault my visits to date but this shocking news will ,I believe, price so many people, like ourselves and potential new travellers, off . We ourselves cannot justify paying such a huge price hike and have not only booked to go elsewhere but will, sadly, probably never go back ever again. Found it strange when trying to book with out usual travel company,and then, a few others that the apartments option didn't appear only the hotel rooms and now know why. These apartments are now known as Boutique apartments and the owners have certainly bumped the prices to justify the new names. Would I agree with the new prices? No. Upon reviewing again after a stay and paying the new prices , give a 5 star review? Sadly No. Because despite loving this place ,the new prices do not justify 5 stars and probably as a result my review would be high 3 . Why? Sorry but the upgrades made simply don't justify the price now being charged per apartment per week and therefore what last year offered value for money, this year certainly wouldn't.

“Just fabulous 👌, so good we're going again 😊”

We stayed in one of the studio apartments. It was very comfortable and refurbished to a very high standard. We cooked/ate in most nights and found the kitchen to be well equipped, sitting in the private patio to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine or 2 as the sun went down. Morning coffee on the roo... more

We stayed in one of the studio apartments. It was very comfortable and refurbished to a very high standard. We cooked/ate in most nights and found the kitchen to be well equipped, sitting in the private patio to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine or 2 as the sun went down. Morning coffee on the roof terrace as the sun rose was another delight. The pool was lovely, obviously huge, with no silly sunbed rush, availability any time we went. Pool bar/cafe offered a good range of refreshments. Service at both reception and pool bar was friendly and helpful. Loved it so much, we got home and booked to go back next year 🥰

“Excellent hotel, highly recommend!”

Just back from an amazing stay at Ancora Park. We had a twin bed room overlooking the pool. The whole area was beautifully clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Just back from an amazing stay at Ancora Park. We had a twin bed room overlooking the pool. The whole area was beautifully clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We stayed for 2 weeks and the pool was never busy, always space to swim with plenty of sunbeds. The holiday felt like a little oasis of calm in the area, close enough to taxi ( very cheaply ) into the old town when we wanted to, but also to relax by the pool. The closest beaches are beautiful but very busy so we decided to take a short taxi ride to the larger beaches where there was more space. I would highly recommend staying here, the perfect place to explore from and then return for a peaceful evening. Thank you for a lovely holiday to all the staff.

“Great renovation since 2020”

Great renovation since 2020, very nice and clean rooms! It is the second time I've stayed at Ancora Park, and really enjoyed it. It is a calm hotel, and the hotel guests quite respectful in what comes to noise.
