Great for walk quiet and clean. It was not busy in March. I walked from Praia de Santo Antonio, good for couples, families and solo ;) there are bikes for rent in Monte Gordo and you can continue cycling to further explore the area, fair infrastructure and lots of places with fresh seafood on the w… more

2nd time in Monte Gordo, first time in this hotel. Saw the review: a few bad and a few good. My first day I arrived early around 11.30 but the room was ready, so no problem. “Monte Gordo in the summer”
The best: the food. That came as a surprise - full board was very convenient for us. Meals were simple, tasty and with enough diversity throughout our stay. Second best: proximity to the beach.
