Just reurned from Bemposta apartments,booked with First Choice, just what we needed, a week of superb weather, and a great apartment, away from the rain of England. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpfull at all times. The one bedroom apartment was quite roomy .All the usual ammenities, full cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, granite work tops large modern cupboards. Bathroom with shower over bath, all spick and span. Maid service 3 times a week.Thomson rep Maria was very helpful and knowledgable of the area and restaurants. Apartments we were in, were built in 2000, and ours was on the first floor (no buildings on site were more than two stories) with a view over the pool. The pool area has a bar and restaurant, with entertainment some evenings (kareoke) The grounds had pine and olive trees and the grassed areas were well maintained. It was a very quiet holiday which was just what we wanted, Bemposta is not in a town, it is between Portimao and Alvor, the reception runs a courtesy bus three times a day. Down the road is a small mini market and two restaurants. Hope to go back next year
