This is a fabulous hotel. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equiped. The pool area and gardens are well cared for. Formosa Park is a step up to where my wife and I usually stay so I enjoyed the quality from the first minute and we would definately return. The breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice, delious fresh fruit.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was our second visit to this hotel. On arrival we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment at no extra cost. The apartment was huge with a large terrace and sea view. All of the rooms were spotless and the sheets were of a very good quality. Breakfast choice was excellent and the hot food was topped up every fifteen minutes. Dinner was of a good quality and inexpensive. All the staff were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back next year. See you then.

We used to come fairly frequently but hadn't been back since the Ash Cloud fiasco in 2010 (hardly the hotel's fault). Returning after an 8 year absence, at first glance we were glad to see that the place had hardly changed. However it soon became apparent that it was a bit like an aged aunt - scrubs up well but on closer inspection you can spot the decline; but see later. It is a very pleasant place to stay; each apartment is comfortable. clean and quite spacious. Kitchenettes are provided with a microvave, hob and refridgerator, plus coffee machine and tv in both living area and bedroom. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are cleaned daily, with bedlinen changed every four days. Staff are friendly and reasonably efficient, and the swimming pool is pleasant and well-served with recliners and sunshades. There is a kids' playground for smaller folk. Breakfast is excellent, with fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses plus a good assortment of cereals, bread and pastries. Toaster worked well and fruit juices were replenished as required. Hot breakfast, in the form of scrambled or fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and either bacon or sausages (these alternate on a daily basis) were fine. It's all done self-service buffet style and tea/coffee etc. is from a machine but ok. Sadly, other meals were not up to quite the same standard. In previous years there was a full and interesting dinner menu, but for our visit it had been replaced by a limited and much simpler menu which was more of a pub grub variety. However, given that there are many local restaurants which provide excellent value this was not really a problem. Bar service was good. As I said earlier, the place shows its age; whilst clean there are signs that a major refurbishment is required - and that is exactly what is happening. The hotel closes on 11 November and will reopen at the beginning of June 2019; all 61 apartments and public areas will be full refurbished, and the apartments are now being offered for sale at prices between 250,000 - 1,400,000 euros by Fine and Country. This will turn the place into a kind of time share but each owner (and I assume each apartment can only be sold once) has a guaranteed right to occupy the apartment for 15 days per annum - but not between June and September! At this level there is a guaranteed return of 5%. For the rest of the year the hotel will operate as it does now but be warned - prices are 10% higher in 2019 than they were in 2018 although early booking discounts are available. The refurbishment looks good on paper and the hotel will continue to attract golfers as well as other holidaymakers. With luck catering will return to previous higher standards as well. To stay here you definitely need a car, as it is some distance from restaurants. shops and resorts - not that far, but beyond a comfortable walking distance.

The hotel in general very good, we were very happy with the apartment. The only thing, the faucet in the kitchen had a leak and that's why the furniture below was full of mold. I did not notify the reception until check-out, as it wasn't worth changing rooms for the 3 days we were there, as we already unpacked when we found this problem. Not a mayor issue for us, since we didnt stay long. Therefore I can not complain about that, surely they would have changed us to another room, I do not doubt that. Everything was very clean and the staff was very nice. You need a car to move to the next supermarket or most restaurants. TV channels a bit limited, but luckily they have a Netflix App, which if you have an account, you can use it there as well. Breakfast quite complete with scrambled or fried eggs, bacon, baked beans with tomato, different breads and rolls, ham, cheese, etc. Pretty good, really. Restaurant prices more than fair compared to the other restaurants in the area. The area is very quiet and beautiful. If I would go back to this area, I would definitely stay at this Hotel a second time. I did ask for a Kettle, Microwave and Travelcot when I booked the room and all three items where in the room on arrival. So if you need a Kettle, ask them!
