Exceeded expectations. We found the one bed apartment to be spacious. The kitchen was good and equipped well . Washing machine too. Given beach towels to use at pool. Air conditioning throughout and we liked being able to control different room temperature. Huge balcony. Loved the dining facilities everything prepared to order. Our apartment was serviced 6/7 days . TV was good. Especially useful during World Cup football. Bar staff , reception and housekeeping was excellent.Fabulous customer service throughout. We liked the tranquil surroundings and felt secure in a gated complex. Used Uber to explore. Close enough to the golf courses and Marina. Bar shuts at 21.00 but that keeps the noise down. Everything suited our needs.

“Fantastic stay. I will be back!”

The setting of this resort is stunning I had a beautiful view over the golf course. The swimming pool is a little shallow but a good length for swimming. The setting of this resort is stunning I had a beautiful view over the golf course. The swimming pool is a little shallow but a good length for swimming. The food is prepared to order and I ate a couple of times there as a result. The staff are very friendly and the one bedroom apartment was beautiful in its decor. Very clean with everything you need to be self sufficient including a washing machine and dishwasher!!

This resort is ok it is not 4 star in my opinion because it feels a bit lacklustre and in need of a makeover and the rooms are definitely not spotlessly clean. The grout in the bathroom had black patches and I had to stop myself buying cleaning products, the maid does clean daily (except Sunday) … more

This resort is ok it is not 4 star in my opinion because it feels a bit lacklustre and in need of a makeover and the rooms are definitely not spotlessly clean. The grout in the bathroom had black patches and I had to stop myself buying cleaning products, the maid does clean daily (except Sunday) she does a superficial clean which is good enough, but the general upkeep of the apartment needs attention. I found the food in the bar to be really poor. I didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. But a big drawback is there is no atmosphere on the complex, no chill music around the pool, no pool table or games for kids and the bar is shut at 9pm, which is no great loss because it is empty most of the time anyway. The staff are friendly, as were all the Portuguese people, good location, would I come back? For a quiet week in the sun, possibly

We have been coming to the Laguna Resort for 10 years. The apartment is fine, spacious and bright. However, in recent years things have been deteriorating a bit because everything is outdated and no replacements are taking place. So, peeling veneer on the furniture, crooked cupboard doors. The bathroom is definitely due for an update. A bath with a shower over it is outdated. The mattress could also use replacing at some point. Another issue is the TV; it is almost unusable. The picture is small and the colors are very washed out. The ants are also a nuisance, despite what they are probably doing about it. The cleaning is very good and the other staff are friendly.
