A wonderfully clean, quiet, pretty site, far away from the tourist buzz of the Algarve. The staff were lovely and welcoming, our two bed apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a terrace to watch the sunset from every evening. Two supermarkets were within walking distance. Our apartment had everything we needed, including an oven, full sized fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. We hired a car to take us away from the touristy Vilamoura, which was delivered to and collected from Prado do Golf, and visited some beautiful traditional villages and towns up and down the coast. This place is for you if you value traditional holidays, with comfortable apartments, welcoming staff, and quiet, calm accommodation. We would absolutely stay here again.

A case of you get what you pay for really. The standard of maintenance and upkeep sells this place short. Villa was well equipped. A case of you get what you pay for really. The standard of maintenance and upkeep sells this place short. Villa was well equipped. Just needed some time and effort put into the place generally as things were given a cat's lick in regard to how it looked and the standard of cleaning. Outside bins regularly overflowing - would be fixed by having more bins. Pool area was in need of a good clean and the tiles were grubby. Many sun loungers needed replacing. Such as shame as there is potential in the place.

So when we arrived after a very long night and day of travel we got to the hotel to find the check in office closed...a sign saying it will be open in an hour, not ideal with four suitcases, tired and hungry children and four lots of hand luggage. So when we arrived after a very long night and day of travel we got to the hotel to find the check in office closed...a sign saying it will be open in an hour, not ideal with four suitcases, tired and hungry children and four lots of hand luggage. We went to the bar and asked for some food only to be told the kitchen staff were off sick. The nice guy behind the counter did whip us up some fries, nuggets and hot dogs..the portions were big and drinks were generous. Finally got to the apartment once the office opened and it was clean and spacious with a washing machine, 2 bedrooms, large living room and front garden. The bathroom is dated and felt a bit grubby, although it had been cleaned it just felt like it was a quick clean rather than a proper clean, this became apparent through our the apartment with very dusty skirting boards, dried snot on the wall and white socks becoming very dirty not long after entering...however bedding and towels were pristine as was the living space. Outdoor dining table was filthy. First night a couple of loud women rang our doorbell to the apartment at around midnight and then proceeded to scream, squeal, jump scare each other, run up and down the stairs all night and what sounded like drag the entire apartments furniture across the floor... thankfully they left that morning but it would've been impossible to complain as there never seemed to be anyone in the office. 2.30am the next night the office alarm went off three times. The bar was also closed again for the day. Luckily for us we had a lot planned and went to a different hotel for the pool and bars as we met family. Nothing to do nearby so Uber was the best option, a short walk to the spar which was convenient. The pool was ok, a little basic, overgrown with weeds and no Floaties or balls allowed so (boring). A mixed bag really, can't say I was too impressed but it was ok for a five day trip. In conclusion, clean apartment where it matters but wish it was followed throughout, quiet area but some other guests were disrespectful. Bar was nice when it was open...we visited twice on five days and found it to be closed every other time we tried to go. The complex itself is very beautiful with lovely plants, trees and surrounding apartments.
