This is our second visit and after a poor experience at reception last year, found the staff excellent and my requests met. It was our anniversary and as last year, we were give a nice bottle of fizz and cake. Rooms are pristine (albeit our wardrobe door was off the hinge and never fixed), the service for coffee at breakfast was night and day on last year, thank you Vikram. The pool was not too busy. My only issue was that no one told me about my discovery benefits and my many Discovery $'s, so being tight, only once bought a drink at the pool bar at the end of the day and thought it too expensive. But I could have used my many $'s. Took a survey and was sent a good discount so looking to get a weekend away sorted for later in the year!

“50th celebration”

Girls holiday to celebrate our 50th birthdays - all staying in one room! Hotel staff were very courteous. Marked down a little for cleanliness on outside areas (balcony and tables by pool) but other than that a great location, well appointed rooms, excellent breakfast buffet. Will return.

The hotel was beautiful, had a nice range of facilities, excellent breakfast options and generally excellent staff. I haven't given 5 stars because the bathroom could be a little better (there is sometimes a scent from the drains that wasn't too pleasant). Also, one member of staff (a personal trainer in the gym) was quite carelessly telling an American client all about his low opinion of English, Irish, Northern Irish, Scottish and Welsh guests. Other than that, the staff were very accomodating and pleasant.

Nice hotel but bath provisionally required in room did not materialise and was offered at a high additional charge which we were not prepared to pay - very limited choice of restaurants- breakfast one could be more utilised for lunch or dinner - oregano Lunch menu limited choice and poor quality food but evening buffet was ok - tried peppers steak but not impressed - pool bar food very nice but expensive- plus points were very accessible for disabled guest - plenty of ramps and 4 designated disabled sun beds which were perfectly placed for pool bar and toilets - a great touch ! No evening entertainment at all not even the vaguely promised quartet which could make the week very long if you don’t talk much to your partner - my overview would be that the facilities are there but under utilised- staff very pleasant and eager to help - no complaints there - not our best holiday !
