Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at West Cliffs. The villas are beautiful and luxurious. All amenities and services are catered for. The nearby beach is out of this world and not at all busy but with life guards on duty. Already starting to think about our next trip there. Highly recommended

The location of this villa is truly stunning—without question, one of the highlights of our stay. The property is new, and the kitchen is mostly well-equipped, which we appreciated. However, for the price point and the way the stay is marketed as a luxury experience, there are several areas that fall short and need thoughtful improvement. First, it’s important to note that the property is still under construction. While the villa boasts sea views, several nearby villas are actively being worked on during the week. This means construction noise throughout the day and a lack of privacy—hardly what you’d expect from a luxury getaway. If the resort is still in development, the pricing and presentation should reflect that reality. One major disappointment was the lack of a jacuzzi or hot tub. For a location that’s often cold and windy, this felt like a major oversight—especially since one of our top priorities in booking was having a pool amenity for our kids to enjoy after long days of exploring. Unfortunately, the pool was simply too cold to use most days in July - I could not imagine during other times of the year. While the kitchen is said to come stocked with basics like salt, oil, coffee, and sugar, what was actually provided were just a few small sample-sized envelopes—not what you’d expect from a high-end villa. Similarly, only two pods were supplied for both the washer and dishwasher, which isn’t enough for a longer stay. There were no instructions for how to use the induction stove or washer/dryer, both of which are newer, high-tech models. We had to call maintenance when a dry cycle didn’t complete properly and the door wouldn’t open. A simple manual would have saved time and hassle. The bedrooms were also oddly configured. Most had two single beds pushed together to create a queen, including the master bedroom, which felt out of place in a supposedly luxurious setting. Closets were spacious, but filled with bulky mattress covers that guests didn’t need and that prevented the doors from closing—leaving closet lights on constantly. Bathrooms lacked thoughtful design: no towel hooks or shelves, no shampoo or conditioner, and confusing layouts that made moving around awkward. The bedding also left much to be desired—basic sheets, pillows, and mattresses that didn’t match the luxury label. Some of the blackout curtains didn’t fit properly, letting in early morning light. The overall decor felt very generic and lacked the warmth or design coherence you’d expect in a high-end resort. This place has great potential thanks to its location and newness, but as it stands today, it doesn’t deliver a luxury experience. For the price, and especially during active construction, there needs to be more transparency, better amenities, and much more attention to detail in both function and comfort.
