Wow, what an incredible experience. We wanted to spend a couple of days between visiting Porto and Lisbon and could not have chose a better hotel. The staff was excellent, every single person including the owner Maria made us feel like we were in our own home. The attention to detail defines what a luxury hotel is. There were so many touch points that clearly were well thought out. The breakfast experience was perfect. Both mornings we had our coffee on the terrace first then returned later for breakfast. Poolside service was fast and spot on. The notification buzzer next to our chairs made it effortless. Our time poolside looking over the Atlantic was truly amazing. The staff in the lobby, housekeeping and behind the scenes remembered our names and quickly learned any preferences. They were always one step ahead of ever having to ask. Location was perfect, just far enough away from the bustle of two beach side towns, but it always seemed we were in our own world. Sleep was easy as there wasn’t any noise ever. Blackout curtains another nice touch. We rarely use turndown, but we did here. Again they think of everything. Notable staff call out was Tiago. He was always a joy to chat with and made the bar experience great. We were there during the FIFA Portugal-Spain match and Tiago could have a new career in color commentary. He made the match so much more fun to watch besides the last minute disappointing loss for Portugal. I am in the hotel business and have stayed at the some of the most luxurious and iconic properties in the world. I am adding this to my list and would highly recommend to anyone to experience the world class hospitality we enjoyed.

Stayed here for a couple of nights when touring Spain and Portugal, and will return without a doubt. I travel a lot on business and have stayed in many lovely hotels The Vintage stands out for many reasons. It's exquisite inside and out. I only took a few photos, but see the dining room pics in this post as an example. The hotel's also located with a fabulous view across the bay from its terrace, and is 5 mins walk from Cascais town centre The staff make the hotel though. They're warm, intuitive, discreet and helpful. You never have to catch their eye twice. And you get the experienced lady on reception could solve any problem that you might need taking care of The owners are also very present, and make the stay in their 15 room hotel, which used to be their family home, feel like one's staying with family - with everything taken care of. They set the bar on how things should be done, and I look forward to returning

The rooms are elegant and brimming with character, and the public spaces are elegant, relaxed and comfortable. The food and service are simply top. This is a Relais & Chateaux quality boutique property that is all about discretion, privacy, ambiance and superlative hospitality. You simply don't want to leave.

We have just returned from the Estoril Vintage Hotel after spending the most delightful 4 nights. We absolutely loved it! It was like stepping into a close friends beautiful house and being hugged and looked after in every single way. Nothing was too much trouble for the incredible staff. A special mention has to go to George and Salome who were the kindest, warm and most helpful members of a very special team. The attention to detail is rare in most hotels but they have really thought of everything. If there is something we needed it was done immediately and with such grace. We would give it 6 stars!! Thank you for a memorable and special stay. We will be back. Meryl & Richard xxx
