“Good choice in Funchal”
Good value hotel in a great position. Nice rooms. Lots of choices at breakfast. Outside pool a bit cool (April) but small heated pool is brilliant. Easy walking either to lido area or Funchal centre. Lots of restaurants nearby. Wonderful staff - special mention to Jonny and the girls on the bar… more

“Rude member of staff.”
Lovely hotel, great location and most of the staff are lovely. The exception is a very unpleasant and rude young man in a blue jumper waiting on at breakfast! I've visited the Magnolia for years and this encounter has now put me off returning.
