“Awesome”
Amazing meal at the the Taverna Grill. Exceeded expectations by a wide margin, we’ve been to a number restaurants in Funchal that were much more expensive but didn’t match the quality here. I’d recommend giving it a try wherever you are staying in Madeira.

“Very nice hotel”
Big clean hotel in a nice midway spot. Staff are very good but salt never works in the dining hall as it's wet in the shakers. Please put dry rice in them, the food is great all round.

I have had another lovely holiday here in Madeira, everyone is so kind and there are so much to do here in Pestana Carlton. I will definitely come again. I like the annual colour party.

“Family visit by Grace”
Hotel pestana is amazing. At breakfast the buffet is superb. Some days a mascot comes in and walks around and hugs people and you can get photos too. But it walked straight past me. The view from the balcony is incredible. The room makes you feel like you’re at home and it is very clean. Some night… more
