“A must stop and see location”
The hotel and Restaurant were fantastic! We are walking the Caminho Portuguese and this is a wonderful oasis after a long day!!! The famous market was happening today and lots to explore! Enjoying the Douro wines and having the famous local special roasted chicken was outstanding!!!

“Average at best”
Our room (406), was dark, had a carpet covered in bleach stains and was generally clean but , tired. Breakfast was mediocre at best, No hot food. Limited choice at best. Worst breakfast of our trip so far. Nothing special about the hotel in quality or service.
