The apartments and building decor are lovely, modern and fresh with beautiful views. Pool and pool area are nice. Limited access to things as you are a bit out of the way, we had ubereats grocery deliveries. You use reception at the nearby RIWO hotel which is fine and you can use the pool here too as well as the gym. There is a shuttle bus which runs between sites. We used the spa at the Polynesia Hotel and the high ropes at the Village. Good security for the whole site. Disappointing aspects- the Beach Club is not included in the price you have to pay €10-12 euros each time you visit. There is no mention of this during the booking process. When you arrive at the beach club you also have to rent a float to use the slides, so you have to pay another €10, again this isn’t mentioned until you arrive. It’s a nice place to visit but unless you are staying in one of the all inclusive hotels it costs, we paid €64 for a family of 3 each visit. The spa circuit at the apartments is not included, it was virtually empty the whole of our stay. I think they could offer a free circuit per stay or a discount. It’s €20 for an hour. We used the Polynesia virtually half price.

Having booked ‘The Loft’ apartment for a birthday celebration we were looking forward to a relaxing week away. Having sent numerous emails & messages to confirm my fears regarding previous poor reviews. I was reassured that the ‘hot tub/spa tub’on the roof would be working despite previous reports saying it was broken. Check in was perfect & the ladies were very accommodating. I requested room 41 which is the best one for views & away from the railway line/evening entertainment. I was given 42 as 41 was occupied (it wasn’t). Further to my disappointment the hot tub was indeed NOT functioning with an error code on the display (this was 8pm on a Saturday night), emails were sent & reception said they would try to send someone to check. The next day someone checked it & said it was now working… It indeed was working & continuously overflowed & ran for 6 more consecutive days, day & night, as if we had our very own water torture. The room itself was tired, marks all over the walls, the floor wasn’t clean & the patios couldn’t be walked on with bare feet due to ants everywhere. Unfortunately the apartments could be so much better with a bit of tlc, but it seems like they are a forgotten relation to the other 2 huge hotels within the complex. Location wise it’s ok, apart from the trains going past in the daytime & the activities from the other 2 hotels at night it’s pretty tranquil. I doubt there would be enough sun beds if it was busy (only 9 beds during my week). Recommend having a car as you need a mountain goat if you don’t use the free shuttle bus from the entrance.

Holiday is what you make it! The view alone from penthouse apartment were amazing, we had have a massive balcony with a hot tub that had maintenance man out for the 1st 4 days they fixed it everytime until it kept coming on through the night so we gave up in the end .... I couldn't get in it had paint peeling off and sand in bottom definitely needs a new one! Bed was far too firm! and uncomfortable found it comfier taking turns on sofa bed .... You have 2 cooking rings and a microwave also a toaster which I had to clean before using it. We went to mercadona just up in carjival as fridge worked and was a good size, Dish washer door wasn't lining up properly but did work....We washed all our towels as cleaners only came round every 4 days so just replenished toilet rolls... we took out our own rubbish...... Kettle was high up in cupboard So we used just the coffee machine... No small knife had to peel veg with a large one (trivial) Iron worked a treat and so did the hair dryer in the bathroom, power shower no complaints actually perfect. Shop at RIWO does not cater for self catering, you can buy water and milk mainly for children Entertainment was all bassed around the children. Goes on until 12am very loud hearing from 3 different hotels (didn't bother us) Apart from crazy frog was their only tune lol.... and Baby Shark! Location we took bus to elephant island walked to bus stop for fuengirola and benalmadena.... we also managed quite a few times to walk into fuengirola along the seafront which is 6 1/2 miles lots if lovely places to stop for a pit stop (coffee and brandy) so you dont notice how far you've walked...breakfast was perfect at the wessex only takes 10 mins to walk to..... just catch the bus back M120..drops you back by elephant island so you then catch the bus (free) to your apartments. Didn't visit the pool onsite no bar or facilities for the apartments there were vending machines. You can use all 3 hotels but after the entertainment was musical chairs and you only were able to buy the all inclusive beer in a paper cup..... Train ran at side of our apartment from 6am- 12.30am...you dont really here much noise apart from the electric cables buzzing before the train goes past.......We bought our own music machine and played that on our balcony......we had a blast.....

Lovely location and apartments with some need for improvement. Stunning views from the balcony, pool area is lovely and whole place is very clean. The apartments have all you need for a self catering holiday. Few downsides are: the balcony at our bedroom had no furniture and could have done with sunbeds, or even a chair and table, the Jacuzzi's on the balconies don't work. We reported the bedroom door handle damaged on arrival which was never looked at. They did replace the broken kettle with another used kettle that worked intermittently. It is a bit of a distance to get to the beach as you have to travel through the resort, where they do provide a bus running every 15 mins until midnight running up and down the steep hill. All in all we had a great holiday and with some attention to detail these could be 5 star review apartments.
