“Wonderful staff and lovely hotel for families”

We stayed for a while in this hotel on a family trip with our three kids. The location is great, the hotel is situated upon a hill and there is a shuttlebus that goes up and down the hill between 10 and 18. We didn't mind walking the hill though because we are used to walking a lot at home. The beach in the direction of Fuengirola is excellent and it is also easy to take the bus both to Fuengirola and to Torremolinos. The train to Malaga stops at a train station that is about 2 km walk from the hotel and goes directly to center Malaga in about 40 minutes and we took that train a couple of times. We have three kids (6, 11 and 15). The youngest loved the hotel, the kids club and the swimming pool area. The teenagers were a bit bored due to lack of activities but it was good for them not having constant access to computers but they were very happy when the Zone opened up over easter and used that to the max. We also visited the Arcade in Hotel Polynesia (next hotel in the hotel village) and that was a great family fun. We went to the Beach club once but the little one wasn't allowed to use all the slides so he didn't want to go again. The food was great, everyone always found something that they liked and it was fun that every night had a theme. We had all inclusive the time we stayed there and the kids loved the snack bar by the pool. The only thing we disliked was the room. It was very bare, no kettle or anything like that and the bed was rock hard so we didn't sleep very well. The room was cleaned very well every day but even so there were a quite a bit of ants (we didn't mind that though but it might irritate some). The staff is sooooo friendly and wonderful. The staff at the kids club was absolutely lovely and also those who supervised the bingo and games by the pool. It was always nice to come down to breakfast and get a big smile and a cheerful ¡Buenos días!. If you want something very fancy and luxurious this is not the hotel for you. But if you want a family vacation at a great location with great staff and for good price this might be a good option :)

“Needs an update of facilities”

Stayed for 4 nights for a family break. Nice staff, usual buffet food which was ok. Pool Bar limited for snacks and drinks. The waterpark access was a bonus and enjoyable.

location is in the middle of nowhere you wil need to get taxis or buses if you want to go in to a town taxi to benalmadena mcdonalds is about 10euro or in to the marina is about 18 euro hotel was nice in the foyer quick check in and sorted us out with same level rooms.we had a corner room 424 which had 2 terrace areas so the sun was always on one of them throughout the day.rooms were spacious with a seperate bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living area.we arrived to very limited utensils as we were only bed and breakfast no kettle (we bought our own) no frying pan or bottle opener which reception did sort out.rooms were cleaned every day and towels replenished if required.shower was very small but done the job.breakfat was nice lots of choice to suit everyones taste just dont expect bacon like in the uk.beds were comfartable for me the wifewasnt so sure.pools were freezing at this time of year...........bad points if you are not ai then you have to pay for the indoor pool and swimming caps which was 15euro for an adult the 3 euro for a cap splash park which is down the end of the road has to be paid for aswell if not ai 12 euro per adult or 8 euro per child.as we were bed and breakfat we ordered some takeaways for dinner through uber eats.i spoke to the guy in reception and explained i have a uber eats delivery coming.yes no problem he said,5 minutes later i have the delivery driver mesaging me saying he cant get past security gate i go back to reception and say my delivery is at security gate only too be told very rudely no no security reasons cant let him in.so i had to walk down this very steep hill to meet delivery driver who wasnt happy and march back up the hill with the kids pizza shocking service from the hotel.all in all stay was ok but i woudnt stay here again honest review hope it helps
