I just came back yesterday from this hotel. My family and kids 3 & 5 really enjoyed themselves. The hotel was quiet with a few busy days with locals coming over for a weekend break. This was brilliant as it meant the kids could have loads of space in every pool, and take as many turns without waiting for slides. They had slides catering for all ages and fears (which was very helpful- working the way up to the bigger slides). There was golf, table tennis and other games to book- no extra payments needed. Alcohol branded- not the ‘local’ stuff usually given at all inclusives. There were 2 premium options for all inclusive but only one when booking online. We got there and saw there was a premium imperium which gave more options but not much of a difference only noticed it with the ice cream tbf. The cocktails on the imperium were rubbish. The staff were amazing. Especially kids club, evening entertainment and catering. However, the food on some nights wasn’t as consistent as others - chicken and fish being slightly overcooked and salty. But in general, good variety and something for everyone. Bathrooms in hotel room are large, 2 showers and 1 bath, enclosed toilet. The only thing I would say is the actual rooms are a bit of a disappointment the large double beds are either pushed up close to each other or separated slightly. Not really much of an option for a bigger room with beds separated or bit of partition between rooms. But overall I would go back and kids loved it, saying they wanted to go back and stay.

Nice hotel. There’s nothing around to do so be mindful if you’re going on holiday with the intention of exploring/eating out. The closest town is about 2 miles away and there’s not much there. Nice hotel. There’s nothing around to do so be mindful if you’re going on holiday with the intention of exploring/eating out. The closest town is about 2 miles away and there’s not much there. The beach is an estuary so it’s not great. Taxis are very expensive! €45 to get to Huelva, one way! Food is hit and miss. We stayed here for a week and majority of the lunches were good but breakfast wasn’t good. Snacks aren’t the best. Seems to be just crisps but the all inclusive isn’t explained very well. There’s no menu for the restaurant! So it’s a gamble. Deserts weren’t great. Staff were not so bad. Majority of the staff aren’t fluent in English at all. Big language barrier but most of the guests here are Spanish so it’s a tricky one. Beatriz the bar woman was amazing! By far the friendliest member of staff, really chatty, despite the lack of English! Always happy and polite. The pool is very cold. Slides are great, when they’re on. It’s quite sporadic. Seems to be an hour before lunch so around 12:30/1:30 then off again until sometimes as late as 5pm. This was a bit disappointing as the slides were a big factor in choosing a hotel. To sum up, nice hotel, location is good or bad, depending on what you want from a holiday. Food is food and the staff are friendly

The hotel has both pros and cons, which balanced each other out in our case, so overall we were satisfied with our stay. The rooms are large and comfortable, with a very comfy bed and a perfect bathroom setup (a separate toilet, bathtub, and shower). The hotel is beautifully located among pine forests, which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, while unfortunately the restaurant staff were much less welcoming. The beach near the hotel is located in a bay, and for us it lacked the feeling of the open ocean. To reach an ocean beach, we had to walk for about an hour. Before the high season, transportation options were quite limited, and the nearest shop was a 36-minute walk away. There was also no ferry operating to the ocean beach before the season started. The biggest disappointment for us was the food. Although there was plenty of it, most dishes were under-seasoned, tasteless, and of rather poor quality. The only highlights were the fruit, tomatoes, and fresh bread served at breakfast. The desserts were repetitive and bland — after the first day we stopped eating them because they simply were not worth the calories. We were happy that we chose the HB option, as it gave us the opportunity to enjoy truly delicious meals elsewhere in Portugal and in Seville.

This hotel is isolated there is little to do locally apart from the beach (which is more natural than touristy) which is a river estuary so there are no waves etc and you can only swim in certain areas. The area is very typically Spanish and the locals speak little to no English and so you will need to know the basics. The nearby towns are not touristy at all and there are no shops locally, you will need to get a taxi (25e) to the nearest shop or the local bus runs a couple of times during the day, you will need to use cash on the buses. There is a little shop on site but it doesn’t sell snacks/drinks. So if you are not all inclusive it can be expensive. I came with a teenager and she was very bored after day 3/4 it was tough to keep her entertained. The room was ok but smell of sewage in our room daily between 9-10 and so this is the smell we would wake up to. I told reception who just called for housekeeping to clean the room which obviously didn’t solve the issue as it is something wrong in drains or pipes. I would imagine if you are Spanish the atmosphere and vibe would be good but as an English person there were only a few English families here during our stay despite it being half term in England and so the entertainment (although the team tries their best) caters to Spanish people more so. The entertainment team are kind and energetic and try their best to involve you in games. The pools are brilliant and so this was the saving grace for entertaining my daughter. The food was very average we found something to eat every day but the selection was not the best and you’d have to wait for something to be available at busy times. Overall the holiday was ok but I wouldn’t stay here again, the hotel is just so isolated and not much to do locally and you almost feel out of place as an English tourist.
