Just got back after spending a week at Sol (2 adults, 4 kids) stayed all inclusive. We had 2 family rooms next to each other but had one of the beds moved into one of the rooms so we could all stay together as our children are 3,4,5&6 so didn’t want to sleep separately. Hotel is immaculately clean, rooms are cleaned every day, beds stripped and made, fresh towels. Pools are great, splash pad for kids is a lovely little addition for the kids. There is a quiet pool and then a larger family pool where they have inflatables and activities each day, all day. Absolutely no issue with sunbeds, we went down 45 mins before the pool opens to save some and never had any issues. You can get pool towels for free, they give you a card and you get towels in exchange for a card. Also they use a token system for AI drinks, you get a larger cup in exchange for a token, take it back you get your token back. Pool is super clean, water is tested every single day which I think is fab. Food there is a huge selection on offer every day, there was only one restaurant open whilst we were there and then another open on the Friday and Saturday evening only but serving the same food. Everything is really fresh and there is loads to choose from, salad is really fresh, fresh fruit. Lots of options for dessert, good for the kids at all mealtimes. We never struggled to find anything to eat for any of us. Pool snack bar has selection in there too like croissants, chocolate doughnuts (so good btw), chips, cereal, cheese, they had burgers and hot dogs too. Beach is stunning but a little rocky, you can’t swim from the shore line unless you have sea shoes really. They have pedalos with slides on them, sunbeds/parasols etc. there’s a man and lady on the beach selling bags, T-shirts and then a lady that does hair braiding also. The lobby bar is nice and quiet in the day time and cool with air con, you can get drinks and snacks there too I believe but we never ate there only got drinks from the bar. The entertainment is on every night and all day long, they have a kids club and adult activities throughout the day like spin class, dancing, water polo, pool mats, yoga. They have a teenager activity timetable too with volleyball etc. The entertainment staff are absolutely second to none, cannot fault them at all. Lolo & Christian are amazing at what they do. Our children will remember them forever. The evening entertainment is great held in the lobby bar, different every night, the magician is absolutely brilliant. They do a kids hour that starts at 9pm like mini disco or face painting then the adult show starts at 10pm. Great atmosphere especially on the weekend. There are tennis courts etc, an arcade for children, shop on site, beauty salon. One thing I would say is we found that this hotel is primarily Spanish based, there aren’t many staff who speak really fluent English, however this wasn’t an issue for us. The staff are super friendly, they never stop they are on the go 24/7, nothing is too much trouble. The cleaners are fantastic. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and most of all for the entertainment staff - you really are incredible. Great value for money for what you get. We would 100% return, a lovely hotel.
