Even if you are all-inclusive, not everything is included, including bottled water. There is a machine for water, but most hotels I’ve stayed in offer bottled water. You have to pay for bottled water! ◦ The food isn’t great, it’s the same each day with small variations. It lacks seasoning. Since returning, I complained to the hotel about the food. We overheard many people complaining about the food. We amost dreaded meal times as it just wasnt worth it. For me, part of the all all inc experience is the food and drink but this hotel just didnt deliver on that front. You can go to one of the other on-site restaurants once during your stay. We went to the Chinese and even that wasn't amazing. Such a shame. ◦ There is a limit in Spain as to how many alcoholic drinks you can have in a day, hence why you have to scan your wristband each time you order a drink. It’s unlike any all-inclusive I’ve stayed at before. I think its something like 6 a day. ◦ Hotel location is good. Nice walk to some shops, and there is a small supermarket close by. ◦ Reception and guest services staff were really helpful and friendly. Bar staff could smile more! ◦ Rooms are clean. ◦ A lot of things you might want require some kind of deposit. Pool towels, kettle etc. ◦ We went off-season (April), so the evening entertainment was just a guy and a piano. He was good, but there were no shows. The kids' disco lasts half an hour (or 4 party songs). We had a lovely holiday but the hotel just wasn't up to expectations, and I wouldn't say a 4 star hotel.

Pros: - Slides in the pool are fun - Rooms are clean - Plates, cutlery etc at dinner are clean - Towel exchange is good (€15 deposit per towel though) Cons: - Pool is disgusting with algae growing in it - Some of the staff are rude (e.g. the lady cooking fresh meat at dinner and the man who runs th… more

Pros: - Slides in the pool are fun - Rooms are clean - Plates, cutlery etc at dinner are clean - Towel exchange is good (€15 deposit per towel though) Cons: - Pool is disgusting with algae growing in it - Some of the staff are rude (e.g. the lady cooking fresh meat at dinner and the man who runs the grill snack bar) - Transfer drops you off a few streets away from the hotel - Beach nearby is stones, not sand (not hotel's fault but still a negative of the holiday) - Next to no entertainment on offer (30 mins mini disco followed by an old lady and man alternating singing) - Not much food on offer at the buffet (the flavour of pizzas is the temperature rather than taste - chips are nice though, as is the roast chicken, as are the desserts) - The Asian a la carte restaurant is more or less the buffet food reincarnated - Green monkey restaurant was open for breakfast only and was nice primarily because not many were in there - The grill snack bar is the worst I've seen - not much on offer - No nice restaurants or bars in the local area - very run down - Second rate beer on tap - Lots of smokers despite it being a family hotel - Very cramped with so many sun beds in a small area (to cater for 10,000 locals arriving every weekend) - No security at the back door (everyone just reaches over and clicks a red button) - Beds by the pool are dated - One of the restaurants has broken chairs and a leak in the ceiling - Plastic cups don't get taken out of rooms as part of the clean - Very loud on weekends with the locals arriving - Almeria airport shuts at 10pm meaning delayed evening flights get sent to Malaga for a 2.5 hour transfer - Irons available for two hours at a time (strict) Conclusion: If I had paid about £1,500 for a week stay all inclusive in a Junior Suite I would have been happy. But I paid £2,200. I feel misled by the marketing and existing reviews, hence the need to write my first ever review.

Just returned from a week with family. Hotel is ok at best. Rooms good size, lovely view, but housekeeping poor. Towels chased, handsoap chased, even a small balcony table chased. Just returned from a week with family. Hotel is ok at best. Rooms good size, lovely view, but housekeeping poor. Towels chased, handsoap chased, even a small balcony table chased. No clothing hangers initially. The food was adequate, quite repetitive. Fruit & cakes good. Alcohol on all inclusive poor quality. A l carte options minimal. The pools are great, but cleanliness is poor. Green algae obvious in the childrens pool, which was slippy & dangerous at the shallow entrance. Panelling & drainage points around the pool sides in need of repair. Night entertainment lacking. Not a 4 star in our opinion.
