Fantastic family holiday at Protur Roquetas de Mar We had a wonderful stay at Protur Roquetas de Mar and were impressed by the excellent facilities, cleanliness, and friendly service throughout the hotel. The staff were hardworking, welcoming, and polite, with the bar team providing quick and helpful service. The pool facilities were a real highlight, especially for families. Our children (aged 8 and 6) were never bored thanks to the lazy river, two pools, and the small water park area. We also enjoyed a spa treatment, which was great value at €35 for a facial and head massage. The all-inclusive package offered a great selection of drinks, snacks, and food. The hotel was exceptionally clean, from the beautiful reception area to the bars, toilets, pool areas, and rooms. The daily replenishment of the mini fridge with soft drinks and water was a lovely extra touch. Our family room was a good size, although we would recommend upgrading to a larger room if one is available. The main restaurant had an excellent variety of food and desserts. One area for improvement would be catering for guests with coeliac disease or allergies. More gluten-free options, such as chips and desserts, would be appreciated, and clearer guidance for guests using buffet utensils could help prevent cross-contamination. The only minor issue was the use of paper cups for drinks when away from the bar, although this is understandable around the pool areas and did not affect our enjoyment of the stay. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday, with the beach nearby and a few bars, restaurants, shops, a Spar, cash machine, and an arcade within walking distance. It may not suit those looking for a lively resort, but it is ideal for families wanting a peaceful break. Some reviews question whether this hotel deserves its 5-star rating, but we completely disagree. The quality of the food and drinks, excellent facilities, cleanliness, and attentive staff all contributed to a true 5-star experience. “Fabulous Hotel”

Absolutely lovely hotel we had such a great time with our family 14 of us including children and a infant Rooms very clean food is amazing we all ate too much lol ! Staff are wonderful very helpful Definitely recommend this hotel

“Disappointing overall”

Arrived late at night check in was great and room was fine. Bathroom was very tight around toilet and shower in bath. Arrived late at night check in was great and room was fine. Bathroom was very tight around toilet and shower in bath. Following morning went to pool bar for breakfast and noticed there were no pools you could go for a swim. Surprised. Food very disappointing cheap cuts of meat including fatty steaks, chicken thighs, pigs trotters and tinned strawberries. Another disappointment 4 days after we arrived was the introduction of paper cups in main bar at around 11.30 pm. You had to pour your drinks into them something that I refused to do. I would not expect this from a 5 star hotel ? Staff were friendly overall especially pool bar.
